I don't have time in my life for jealous people, it's a waste of energy. If the person i am with feels they cannot trust me then they have insecurity issues to deal with.
People look at people all the time, it's a natural thing, but it doesn't mean they are going to run off with them. Jealousy is just another word for insecurity.  | |

Joking or not, that's pretty immature.
I take it you've been cheated on. That's unfortunate if so. Cheating is unacceptable. However, once it happens -- I personally have no emotional attachment. Then again most people can't detach like that. I don't expect much from people, and what little I do respect -- if violated, I easily cut them off with no remorse. I'm ruthless in holding fast to this. I sure would be entertained though if I walked in on it. To me it would be astounding to think a mate would be so foolish as to think they could successful do it without me knowing. | |

Once again, unfortunately you are being inconsiderate. I have not been cheated on; there's a simple feeling of sympathy, something of which it appears you lack. I'm certain even YOU have an emotion or two inside of you that's positive...don't be so condescending. Additionally to this, if you really feel the way you say you do as quoted above, I sincerely suggest you re-word that profile of yours. You are assuming that jealousy is about a woman/man trying to make their partner jealous (actually many of the posters are assuming this)... Hmm, this is interesting: so, we are going back to the "there is no smoke without fire" thing, i.e. If I feel jealousy, there must be something going on.
How about the situations where the object of jealousy didn't do a thing: for example, my friend's husband yells at her because he saw a man ask her for directions in the street; or my dad's partner who threw a tantrum because she saw him talk to the neighbor (now, guys, I know both of these people; they didn't do a thing, they were just being courteous and polite..What is even sadder, both of theese people's respective jealousies are turning the relationships into living hell (I would have left eons ago, in both cases, if I were my in my Dad's or grilfriends place) So, please, don't think of all of this as manipulation... (and honestly, I don't quite get it how it is OK in the dating stage either: so it is OK to manipulate somebody before we get to "ensnare" them in a relationship, but it is not OK to use this supposedly "wonderful" tool later on? I am confused... Anyhoo, I wouldn't really want to be with anybody who need all this histrionics to get my attention : they can continue being "hot" or popular" with out me. | |

He could be seeing other people while he is dating you because he is terrified of losing you...he may need backups in case you don't work out. For men, getting dumped is second only to getting fired (the opposite order for women), which is still not as bad as losing his dog or getting old.
Also, having a girlfriend makes a man's whole being work better...suddenly he is a chick magnet (ergo: all the good ones are taken, or married...that means, in reality, all the married ones feel and appear good). Since he is technically single, he may keep a few flirtations around. That's another outstanding reason for waiting until the wedding night. Let him get it out of his system!!!!! He will end it with the girls he is sleeping with and pick you if you love him. | |
