So glad to hear that you had yourself a delightfully wonderful day, and that you totally enjoyed your day to the fullest.

| TOP 10 REASONS TO LIVE IN MANITOBA Posted: 6/22/2005 1:40:41 PM | Because of our winter, we really appreciate our summer. And it seems like summer is really here!
Jeanne's cakes
Alicia's perogies
Kelekis Restaurant (there seems to be a pattern developing)
That week in May when it is warm and the mosquitos haven't hatched yet

However, the winters are just as beautiful as the summers, especially, when the winters are a nice bright sunny days, even though, it is cold. When the sun is out, and shinning, on a winter day, with the pure white snow, ahhh, what a beautiful day.
Go outside, and take a deep breath of that cold air, it wakes up the senses, and it is also refreshing.
And even though the summers are hot, and mosquito infested, it is still beautiful. What I also like about the Manitoba Summers is, the beautiful summer sun set, with the sun setting down behind the horizon, during nightfall, and how about thos beautiful colored skies, a sight to behold.
And those golden wheastfields, they are awesome. Whith that golden wheat waiting to be harvested. Ya got to love that. Winnipeg, and Manitoba, are such a beautiful province and city.

| TOP 10 REASONS TO LIVE IN MANITOBA Posted: 1/7/2006 12:05:30 PM | The beaches, guys, the beaches!!!
Playboy listed Grand Beach as one of the top 10 beaches in North America. Manitoba has no shortage of great white sand beaches.
Of course beaches equal bikinis which equal beautiful women.
Which brings me to, 3 women for every guy in Manitoba according to Stats Can.
Sorry girls, you have to move to the Yukon for the good Stats.

| TOP 10 REASONS TO LIVE IN MANITOBA Posted: 1/7/2006 3:28:20 PM | If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by.
"Vacation" means going South past Emerson for the weekend
You measure distance in hours. You know several people who have hit a deer more than once.
You often switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day and back again. You can drive 65 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard, without flinching. You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit. Driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow. You know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction. Your idea of creative landscaping is a statue of a deer next to your blue spruce. You have more miles on your snow blower than your car. You find 0 degrees "a little chilly." But it is still t-shirt weather If you have worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you might live in Manitoba.
