May I intervene for a moment... and they say soccer is political... lol

I love the cricket.. fanastic.. especially England vs Australia one day game. Went a couple of years ago to the MCG match and England played in 45 degree heat, of course they lost but wow did they give it their best shot. The last one hour of the match was so close it could have gone either way. They got a standing ovation for playing against such odds.

Soory guys, I'm posting again.

I heard that the Barmy Army are having their own Christmas Party along the Yarra River , all 3,000 English Cricket Fans in Melbourne all at the same place on Xmas Day. What a way to start the third test the next day.

Now that is what I call a Xmas Party.. hmmmmmmmmm Gate crashing is soundng like a good idea here. !

i love cricket! Test cricket can be boring but its is an acquired taste and the battles that go on between bat and ball can be engrossing.

Exactly right ReallyCrazy Anyway the way they play it these days drawn games have become few and far between.

Yeah ODI and 20/20 Cricket is for fun. But It still gives me the fix I need. With 20/20 its a case of blink and you miss it. I couldn't make a cup of coffee between balls.

i don't know anything about ARF, but hearing scores over 100 points makes me think it's only marginally better than basketball. i don't usually like events in which all you have to do is score more than the opponents. i prefer some more defence than basketball offers and i suspect that arf is probably similar.
