| Sleeping with pets Posted: 10/5/2006 9:46:01 AM | | my cat has been with me for 15 years. There is no way in hell he would ever tolerate not being in my bed. I had an ex ask me to lock him out of the room, you know, the cat or me sort of thing. I told him "you know where the spare bed is". Hmmm ya think thats why Im single? LOL | |

| Sleeping with pets Posted: 10/6/2006 12:56:10 AM | My Dog looks just like a JRT only HUGE!!! He is a beagle cross (59 pound Beagle cross) we think his dad must have been a Dal, was suposed to be a westie but thats clearly not. And no he doesnt sleep with me. He does however get to sleep on the couch in the living room. A luxury some pets are not afforded | |

| Sleeping with pets Posted: 10/6/2006 2:46:32 AM | German Shephards are better than men because:
1. they bring their bones to bed with them.
2. they let the cats sleep there too.
3. they only whine when they have to go.
4. they don't care if you eat crackers...as long as you give them one.
5. that funny noise they hear when your vibrator is turned on just makes them turn their head to the side and look at you funny.
6. they find something else to do when they realize you are busy...

| Sleeping with pets Posted: 10/6/2006 9:27:54 PM | | When I'm alone, by little doggie sleeps with me. When I have company, he just knows he's sleeping somewhere else. I don't have to kick him out. My doggie comes in to the bedroom in the morning (when we're done)! | |

| Sleeping with pets Posted: 10/11/2006 2:11:41 AM | I would love my dog to sleep on the bed with me but he generally doesn't want anything to do with being on the bed if it entails me sleeping in it....and yes, I realize that sounds funny. I've even gone to the extent of bringing food to bed, lol, and giving him a bit at a time til I fall asleep, BUT forget that, he jumps off the moment he catches on and actually leaves the food behind to do so, and he lives for food! I'm pretty sure it would have been different if I'd had him right from a wee pup, who knows what his background has been.
A g/f of mine has 2 dogs and will be looking after a 3rd next weekend. I am jealous...one cuddles into her under the covers, one at the pillow and the other, well, I'm sure he'll be curled at her feet. Talk about good ol' warm fuzzy love!
The name's puppylove for a reason! :-)

| Sleeping with pets Posted: 10/31/2006 12:23:07 AM | Peach ... ya hog the soft dirt areas too ... damn that rock hurt my back ... the prepared campers
Keep your damned dog or any other animals off my bed .. I paid good money for my bed and I dont want it full of flees, hair, or animal dander. I love animals and we have several .. but they do NOT belong ON or IN my bed

| Sleeping with pets Posted: 10/31/2006 1:28:54 PM | Yah, well our dog runs the show in the bed department. She'll jump on the bed when we're getting ready to go to sleep and lay at the head rest taking up all 3 pillows. I end up sleeping at the bottom of the bed in the corner with no blankets cause gf's got them all.
When we do manage to get our spots on our bed, the mutt jumps inbetween us during the night and will start kicking one or the other (depending on which direction she decided to sleep on) to get more room and it always ends up being me.
Gee, whoever said a relationship was going to be easy?
