Any woman I was interested in enough to date for a while and of course who wanted to date me would go to bed with me. This is after all how we select our mates, at least in this****re. | |

The truth is that both men and women sometimes have a hidden agenda, it''s not strictly a gender issue.
Oh, please tell me it isn't so... I'm losing faith in humanity!!!
The fact is that most people tell lies... everything from little white ones because they want to be seen in the best possible light, to the biggies... the 'I love you' ones... it's called being young and human. Sheesh.

I guess part of my point, which I failed to make clear, was that asking men to fess up to such, and to do so on a forum where they are looking for dates.......would be comparable to asking the ladies to fess up to saying yes to a date for the wrong reasons. -Though men don''t really care if you say yes for the wrong reason, just say yes!

Now I definitely agree that hidden agendas are not gender selective...
But...if I am going to put all of what I invest in getting to know someone, I am NOT going to screw it up with some sort of stupid beating around the bush BS.
In other words...I date for one reason...to befriend new people, who...may just possibly...lead to something worth keeping around...to have friends to share things in life with. I do not date to find a sugar daddy, to see a good show, to get a free meal, to make an X jealous, or any other ulterior motive that may be considered a "wrong reason."
REALLY! And I just KNOW there are plenty more like me! ;) | |

I'd have said just from the thread title and using the stereotypical view of men as often as they need to. Men are, on the whole fairly stupid testosterone fueled rutting machines, just the way nature intended. The fact that society now confines us to talking our partners into intercourse rather than being the most impressive male left standing (So to speak!) doesnt change what we are underneath however much we do the housework and pretend to be 'new men' | |

Posted: 7/5/2006 6:12:42 AM | well look at it this way...if alot of guys have to lie to get sex, than maybe the women should be a little stronger, and not be so nieve to be able to see thru the bullsheet and it would never be an issue for them. If someone has to lie or manipulate, there isn't much there to get in the first place lol.
woman lie and manipulate more than men, the only difference is that women are better at hiding it and using their mental and visual stimulations and being more keen at their deliveries than men are so it's not as out there at the men being seen doing it. Alot of men, I am sure, are more out there and bold, where as women are more sneaky at it cuz they can be. I know cuz I hear from alot of women how all they have to do is throw a wink at a guy, or flaunt a body part, or this or that, and the men are putty.....so I wouldn't be laying this on the guys here, it takes 2.
Maybe if the women didn't play the hard to get game, and use their power they know they have to "soften" a man up with their ways, maybe a man wouldn't have to try so hard. When a man tries hard, you will get the good and the bad, so live with it. lol
Cuza...... you seem to forget, in order for a man to get the woman has to give it up, so you are just as guilty. lol | |
