It takes a effort and time to fall in love and do not for one minute that women do not use men for sex/money/confort or anything else...

My head was filled with strange ideas like, all women want a forever commitment before they will "give it up" as if they were doing me some kind of favor! LOL... now that I am much more authentic and honest about my intentions, regular sex is never a problem. Note that my intentions might vary from woman to woman, but I do my very best to be upfront and honest.
I am amazed that so many people still buy into the idea that there's something wrong with you if you feel sexual attraction for someone before you meet all their relatives and pets and spend tons of time. It may be RIGHT FOR YOU to spend lots of time, but there is little to be gained by being dishonest about your emotions or your intentions. | |

What is the purpose of love???
we are biological machines designed to reproduce. That's the bottom line. We're designed to keep our genes going. I believe the statstic are about 40% of people have a different father than they think it is. the female if she's unfaithful. what makes her unfaithful??? she's attracted to another man (has better genes) her body is 98% more likely to have sex with the guy she's cheating with during ovulation. So she can get pregnant by him. It's all unconcious obviously. Women aren't aware of it. But those are the facts about it. We're designed to reproduce. I forgot who said it, buy this one guy said... "the only way to know your concious is free is to be able to walk up to a woman and say you wanna f*ck?" | |

...gotta agree with you here! men may lie to get sex, but women often have sex with ulterior motives...like the woman i know who continued to "service" her husband until he paid for her new set of boobs, at which point she promptly divorced him! another poor bloke that i know was in the midst of a divorce and actually paid his own wife to have sex with him (she wanted a $200.00 jacket).
i think disingenuous pursuits of sex are instigated by males and females somewhat equally.. | |

Posted: 9/22/2007 8:01:42 PM | I think it's pretty ridiculous for a man or woman who would have to lie just to get sex it comes to show your real character and that you don't care if you emotionally hurt the person just so you can get pleasure. I'm sure it makes you feel like a real trooper huh? and it's pretty sad that you can't find someone who is psychically attracted to you to where they would want to have sex with you. But yet your still having to lie to get it. I think that should be the question here.
I have never lied to get sex and I wouldn't be stupid enough to just give in so easily especially without having any feelings or emotional connection with the person first. Usually you can tell if a man or woman is after one thing and it shouldn't take no rocket science to figure that one out. If a man or woman tells you right away that there in love with you and at the same time trying to get down your pants I would think again and make that person wait and then find out how much that person really loves by seeing just how long there willing to stick around. I truly despise people like this. | |

...er, it's a little spin on prostitution (IMHO), if your married to the guy you sleep with in order to get a new set of boobs, a jacket, etc...or maybe hubby is simply "pu**ywhipped" beyond belief.
...if you're not married to the guy, it's prostitution pretty blatantly, whether you're asking for a jacket, or cold, hard cash.
then again, these "sex for goodies" arrangements probably exist in many marriages where the wife is just tired of having sex with her husband (or picking up his dirty socks, for that matter), but hesitates to leave him because he is a generous "provider". | |

usually when the subject of ex-girlfriends or sex comes up, I give a general lie to try to divert the subject. Telling a woman that you're 23 and you never had a girlfriend before doesn't improve your chances very much. | |

I have a question to pose that I genuinely want to hear as many answers to from those women who see fit to post them. Those men who want to contribute their two-cents worth of gender perspective, are of course more than welcome to do so too.
How many women (reading this) have connected with a man here on POF who’s profile states he is looking for dating/long-term relationship, but you find out (either before or during the first date/meet ‘n’ greet) soon afterwards that he is just after a hook-up, the only thing he is really interested in you for is booty-call?
Let’s face it, if he wants booty-call up front right from the get-go, that’s all he really gives a damn about from you because surely all of us ladies know by now that if you respond to the booty request on a first date, the odds of you getting called for a second are between slim to none, and all those falling into the slim category have no reason to celebrate because it’s not because he thinks you are girlfriend material, it’s ‘cause he’s trying for another hook-up!
What’s kind of disheartening is when the guys that are doing it are 45 years old! I know, I know, the need for nookie and a person’s maturity quotient don’t necessarily have anything to do with each other, but sheesh… I would have thought that by the time a guy gets to that age, he would have learned better/cleverer/more honest strategies for getting into a woman’s pants, or at least some patience regarding same, l.o.l.
For the record, I (really) like sex, I have a strong libido. But I have to have some emotional connection made first with a man. I don’t mean love, just a certain amount of mutual affection/mental connection/personality interaction has to be established first, and that takes an absolute minimum of three (proper full-length) dates. I have to know the person somewhat first, for me physical intimacy is not something I can do with a virtual stranger, it’s something to be shared with someone with whom I have established a basic emotional intimacy first. | |

Women want and enjoy sex as much as, if not more than, men.
