what you seem to be saying is that I should reframe my whole view on this to see it as some kind scarey/complimentary/intimidatory/sexual thing? and enjoy it? Are you mad?
My point is, it's something that is NEVER going to change. Men will always glare because it is instinctive.
Soooo, you have 2 options. Keep feeling like you do and feel intimidated by the attention or try to understand it for what it is and look at it has a plus rather than a minus. | |

I wear tight or sometimes low cut tops when I am going out for a night on the town, and I know men are looking, but that is an appropriate time if I dress like that for them to look but never in the workpace. I know how the poster feels, because I have had it happen to me on several occassions at work, and I have on nursing scrubs, not something that is revealing. You really want to say, "hey, my eyes are up here". And for the poster who said that we only catch men 20% of the time looking, I don't buy that. We know they look alot more than that. | |

I know how the poster feels, because I have had it happen to me on several occassions at work, and I have on nursing scrubs, not something that is revealing. You really want to say, "hey, my eyes are up here".
Lettin' you in on a little secret, darlin'... um, some guys, ie, guys like me, think scrubs are pretty hot ;-).
Probably a cross between them being vaguely like sundresses or pj's, stuff that doesn't take a whole lot of effort to have them laying in a pile in the corner, and the fact that they're often worn by ladies that say things like "ok, cowboy, you can get undressed and lie back and I'll be with you in a minute..."

It's not okay.
Unfortunately, some men suffer from this common disease called "being an ass".
It causes them to do things like stare at a woman's breasts instead of respecting her and making eye contact.
Of acting like jerks. Lying. Cheating.
All that stuff.
No cure has been found as of yet.
Though a temporary solution has been found... it's called "a kick to the groin". ;)

Another man who is trying so hard to be accepted by a woman. Yes, I agree with you, Smuggler1. I don't think women care too much either for men who react like vengeful women to other men. I see this word here in the forums, mangina, and laugh becauze it is double-entrendre and exactly on point. Beside, whoever said that about kicking someone in the groin, that is an assault and is never, ever permissible. Man or woman. And if this is a man coaching women on what to do to other men, he is neither a man or a woman, but a coward. | |

Posted: 3/25/2008 4:17:33 PM | I went out on Satuday to watch the footie, I was sitting on my own and a group of guys asked if I wanted to join them, save being there alone. It was all very convivial and friendly, nothing seedy. There was a girl sitting opposite and they asked me if I thought she'd dressed as she had to draw attention, and I have to say, yes she had. There's no way she got dressed infront of a mirror and hadn't noticed that her top was undone down to her brastrap and she was quite ample. I'd probably do the same if I was built for it, she didn't seem to mind the attention. But what I don't understand is why guys still look when there's nothing to see? And I don't mean because there's nothing there but because they're covered up, why still stare when a woman is obviously not showing any cleavage?

I know some women who would kill to have enough to need a bra.
And by the way, don't act like you've never let your eyes roam south to check out a package!

I kid with my female workers about the way men look at our beast, I grab mine and say, yes these are power and I have the power. I have done this to a couple of guys and it has stopped them from staring . LOL if this was our only complaint.
Most women will understand what I mean and agree. Most women may not be as strong physically as a man, but mentally we are. Our breast can move mountains without even without us lifting a finger. Rejoice you are female instead. | |
