| Why do men stare at womens boobs & think we don't notice ???
Posted: 6/15/2008 7:13:13 PM | I'm not going to make excuses for anyone here, nor talk for anyone else...
But it has been pointed out to me that when I talk to women with breasts of any noticeable size, my eyes gravitate towards said breasts...
Honestly, I'm generally not even aware that I'm staring, it just seems to be a genetic type thing... fully automated...
Is it rude to start at breasts, yes, I do think so, but I seem to stare at them anyways... Though, whenever it's pointed out to me I'm staring, I mentally slap myself in the face and try to keep eye to eye contact...

Posted: 6/15/2008 7:27:06 PM | OP it's not just men that stare at big boobs, I used to work with a woman who had the largest breasts that I have ever seen in all my life, and every time she walked in the room, I just couldn't take my eyes off them (and I'm a straight woman!). Eventually one day she was telling me how she was going in for a reduction and we got talking about it and she was very open about all the problems she'd had because of the size of them, and I had a total attitude adjustment, and I now feel very sorry for women with huge breasts. They often feel just as self conscious as flat chested women, if not more so.
Incidentally, I used to want large breasts but I'm now more than happy with my generous handful ! | |

And, we don't really think about it. We just, well, look. Most of us quickly notice what we're doing, and that you probably will be upset if we continue to stare, so we stop. But some guys are just clueless, and continue to stare. On behalf of men everywhere, I apologize for any discomfort all of you women feel. But I also thank all of you for being so beautiful, and we get pleasure at just looking at you, if nothing else ever happens. | |

Hey! I really do look at the logo's. I hate it when there is writing on a womans t-shirt, i always want to look and then i get accused of staring! Now, I just ask her what it says if it takes more than 3 seconds to decyfer.

I hate that when there's something written on her shirt because if I take more than two seconds to read it (it could be a page from the Bible for all I know) there's this assumption that I'm ogling her. Well, I probably am because if she asks me what it actually says on her shirt, I may not know...BUT originally the intention was to read it. There r far more important things to worry about than a guy sneekin a peek unless of course he has serious ISSUES( time in the slammer for stalkin or peekin thru windows)
If a guy stares at my breats while i am talkin..I am gonna laugh at him.

admirin is fine...its natural....heck we admire a fine lookin gentleman..but...starin ...says u r interested in one thing.
I have actually had guys look right at me..then take a "trip" all the way down..knowin full well I can c him..and when he's done..he'd wink...or make other lude gestures or comments and I was dressed NORMAL walkin thru a parkin lot at a department store...
Now whose playin games?? Is that NOT creepy??

I assume you're talking about literally staring and not an appreciative glance?
The guys a moron sounds like to me, but I'll never tire of looking at a well formed woman. For you younger women? We were younger men once. Don't think of us as dirty old men because we look too. We're men and a beautiful woman is exactly that no matter how old we get or she gets. For my money, anyone man OR woman that is tired of being admired, should seek help immediatly because most never have the honor. | |

The guy was very obviously checking out everyone in the restaurant while we talked. The woman gets up and moved to my side of the booth, then told him, "I'm sitting here because unlike you Khamya's not checking out all the women!"
Though she used my name not my handle.
I replied, "Actually, I've been watching that chick in the really tight red shirt, but you just haven't caught me at it." I was referring to someone she thought I couldn't see at all from my angle. She looks, realizes that I was serious. Gets shocked, unbuttons two buttons on her blouse and moves back to the other guy's side of the table.
He paid a lot more attention to her for the rest of lunch. | |

At 42 DD its not like its easy to hide them.I dress very stylishly and in good taste.They are not hanging out flopping all over the place ,like some "ladies" ( and I use that term "loosely") do.It does not matter if your a size 34 A or a 42 DD if they are hanging..sagging..bouncing or resting on your knees please coral them in. Its funny though when I am all dressed up to go out and socialize its usually the other ladies starring at them? I just smile and think to myself you jealous little creatures...lol.So unless the man /lady is being rude or obnoxious I say let them enjoy what nature all on its own has created. | |

I have no problem having a guy admire my chest, I have been voted nicest cleavage and proud of that (group of close friends - male and female). I don't go around with them so revealed it leaves nothing to the imagination but they aren't hidden under a "pototoe sack".
I too think it's funny to see guys - have to remind the guys "they don't talk"
Outside of the instance Rhogail describes (CREEPY) I am not bothered by being admired. But if that's his limited ability to notice me then I wouldn't waste time in going out.
The human form is beautiful in balance, I wouldn't go to a nudist beach but I certainly don't feel the need to wear puritan dresses either. Balance. And guys, yes we women check you out too - we just are generally a little less obvious! | |

There is really not a good answer , God gave us ladies boobs for some reason
as one said for men to look at , but he also gave us other quality assets as well
like a nice smile and pretty eyes and also smarts too! He blessed us with an
inner beauty as well as an outter one.
Well men are going to lo0k and not going to
close there eyes to our assets. Yes it can be flattering as well as disrespectful
and shallow cause there is more to me than just my boobs.
I have clevage and
I will not wear a sack as someone said , the good lord blessed me I'm going to
dress the way I want with taste and be myself and if the men look at my boobs
or clevage then they are missing out on the real thing my heart that is the best
part of me.
Touch a womans heart you get the entire woman we are not just about
boobs we are woman that are full of passions and desires but also we have lots
of self respect too we are after all ladies .

Posted: 7/5/2008 8:09:13 PM | | AlbertaGirlie,you are a breath of fresh air.Now,a quick glance and a blatant stare are two different things.One is human nature,one is just plain rude!In our society,a woman`s self-esteem is (rightly or wrongly)is based on her appearance.All you have to do is look at magazines or tv and see what extremes of conditioning the advertisers and retailers have gone to to make a buck.We men don`t look at just the breasts,the overall image is what a woman presents to the world to see,and if a woman has gone to the effort to make herself look nice,I see nothing wrong with a glance in appreciation,sometimes two.Also,we all have differing tastes in what we find attractive.The first thing I notice is the hair,then the eyes.Biology has something to do with it so far as men and breasts are concerned,the breasts being the outward manifestation of the nurturing side of female physiology,the first thing we all are exposed to as infants is the warmth and security of suckling at our mother`s breasts,so we are conditioned from infancy to appreciate breasts,it is one of the deepest,most primitively rooted tenets of mamallian life.Yes,we do find them fascinating,and do like to look at them(and more),but yes,just plain staring is just plain rude.I apologise for those of us who do it | |
