The female form is infinitely alluring and fascinating. Breasts are one of the more obvious defining characteristics of a woman, and are going to be noticed by any normal male. And yes, it is respectful and appropriate to maintain eye contact when speaking to anyone, but aside from that your breasts are going to be noticed. Evolution designed men to notice, but culture (and sometimes climatic considerations LOL) now deems that breasts be covered. It wasn't so for most of human evolution (and even in relatively modern time in some places it is or was fashionable to display them), so hiding them makes them all the more interesting! | |

Posted: 7/16/2006 6:57:40 AM | Yea I agree with that one 100%. Back when I was in high school a friend of mine had some huge boobs and she would be like here read the logo on my shirt and they would be pushing through the shirt so I had to stare.
I try to keep my eyes on a girls face when we are talking, but I tend to look sometimes if they are just like BOOM right out there, some girls like to have them all hanging out especially if they are wearing practically nothing.

Posted: 7/16/2006 10:11:20 AM | The homo sapiens female is the only member of the higher primate group (which also includes orangutans, gorillas, and our very close cousins, chimpanzees/bonobos) that maintain full breast size when not pregnant or nursing the young. Anthropologist theorise it was an early adaptation to keep males around, who came in handy for hunting game and protection. If paleo-buddy could never fully figure if the paleo-missus was up the spout, then he'd stick around, just in case.
Another adaptation for the same reasons is the fact that external human female genitalia doesn't undergo the radical change in appearance during ovulation, like the apes. (We've all seen such examples on National Geographic programs. Looks really hot if you're a gorilla. Looks really weird if you're a human.)
So, you see, it's a deeply instinctual response on our part. Our brains are hardwired to notice breasts.

Posted: 7/16/2006 11:36:51 AM | Most of the time we stare at them because the girl wears so kind of super tight shirt or shows so much cleavage that we see her billy button. If I put on some tight jeans you'll look at my ass well we do the same for your boobs.
But if the guy is only looking at your boobs when he talks to you....slap him in the face and leave..........

I didn't even know I was staring till he told me. lol, I think why you don't hear much of this is cuz what guy really cares if u stare at his crotch? If i were u, i'd just be blunt and say hey buddy my eyes are up here, they will get the picture soon after that is said. | |

1. We don't look at them because we're MEN and pigs. We look at them because we appreciate them. We'd tell you, and we REALLY REALLY want to tell you how nice we think they are, but you'd hate us for it. We don't understand why it's taboo, but it is.
2. We want to compliment them because we are human beings, and we treat others how we would like to be treated. THATS WHAT HUMANS DO!
So, maybe we men should get upset that WOMEN don't compliment us enough on our sexualized parts. Because at least we're willing to.
Why is it the only place you're going to hear the words come out of a woman's mouth "Hey, nice package" as she leers, smiles and gets wide eyed, only found in a porn movie? Because THAT'S WHAT MEN WANT. It's our fantasy. | |

i took that guys adive ..i dont care of they stare ...cause i will stare at his chest and anything else i like to look at .its natural, .that is one reason that our chest was created for ..is to attract the guys ...its what happens after that that decides if he is an ***hole or not? how he handles it.......think of it this way, would u rather them not be interested in all? not look your way at all? I have had guys look at mine and say ..Whoa u r beauitful and i know he meant that in a good way ..then i had other guys look at me and say man u r sexy and know that he means that he is just thinking one bad thing. | |

Why do we do it...human nature - It's obviously what's drawn our attention.
It would be no different then if someone had a big zit on the end of their nose...if it draws attention your gonna notice it - except then your at least staring at the person's face..just not the part they want you too.
You can either amplify or diminish the 'stares' by what you where, how you wear it, how you carry yourself and the attitude you take!
Find a way to make it work for you instead of tickin' you off, would be my suggestion. | |

Posted: 8/10/2006 6:18:01 AM | | I'm having a hard time letting this topic go. Probably because I've been large-chested since I was twelve, so I've had alot of years of men staring at my boobs. I realize that we're talking about a few different circumstances in this thread - men casting a quick glance at a woman's chest, women wearing revealing clothing, and the one that has me all pissed off, and I think the one that has the OP pissed off, when you are trying to talk to a man in a non-sexual situation, and he can't/won't focus on anything but your boobs. The reason it is so upsetting for many women like me is that for so many years, we have been made to feel by many (not all) men that we ARE our chest, that our breasts represent everything we are. Don't get me wrong, my breasts are a huge part of my sexuality, and I think that they are very pretty and sexy, but sometimes it seems that men are blinded to the human being behind the bra. | |

On the otherhand, I will read any writing a girl puts on her breasts or ass...and spellcheck it a couple times, just to make sure I read it correctly and there are no errors :p. Seriously though, I figure if a girl puts stuff there, don't get angry if I read it.
When was the last time you saw a guy with a logo on the front of his pants? Like really... | |

I've been caught a few times, and the sad part was, I wasn't REALLY looking at her breasts..it was just a focal point...
If it helps you put it all together..think of it like this...
A lot of women look for men who can bring some sort of security in their lives (can he beat up the guy harrasing me?)...So they generally pick the guy with the body type that they feel can do the job. (I know you can take care of yourself...I know!)
A lot of men look for women that can bring healthy children into thier lives...(even if subconsiously) we take into consideration things like breasts (is my kid gonna starve?), and hips...(will it be a difficult pregnancy?)
It's not our fault we are programmed to find fitting mothers for our children..just as much as its not your fault you find a guy who's "well built" to help you feel physicaly secure...
Yes I know, people are different. No woman needs a man to protect her, but that's what it comes down to for some women! | |

Couldn't agree more bigwings. If I don't want a man looking at my boobs I just cover them up, don't wear revealing clothes etc... Men are extremely visual and are going to look why don't more women get that.
