Brett Favre.....First off let me say, i respect his game, i know he wants to win more than anybody, BUT, the crap he pulled in the offseason was crap. He held the packers hostage, and the comment of "what are they gonna do...cut me"?....if that was my team i would be PISSED!!!!.....another thing, the media loves this guy like there is no tomorow, the guy threw 29 ints last year, but everytime the media talks about it, there is always an excuse to it...."thats just favre being favre"......"he is just trying to make plays"......"a lot of balls went off recievers hands and got intercepted".....always an excuse, he isnt the player he once was, he is a shell of his former self. I just wish he would go away, he does no wrong in the media eyes, and he needs to go away while he is even half decent. I would hate to see him retire having another 29 ints the last year of his carrer...... | |

Ya Dillion is aging, yet who keeps winning that Divison? Who was in the playoffs witha aging dillion and sub par Defence? Thats right New England, age has nothing to do with it. For god sake look at Minnesota you put ina QB 10 yrds at least older and he turns that team around.
As far as Pittsbrugh goes plain and simple too many losses offensively, Big Ben wont have any time without the Bus blocking for him ,a dn as far as Indy goes i already explained, they simply are pretneders they win in the regular season but choke when it matters most and for you to call them a .500 team is jsut ignorant.. Last i check the colts havent been 8-8 in the past few years | |

I mean, i would even say tony richardson is better than krieder, or maybe even larry centers.......thats all up for debate, but you ask ANY coach in the nfl who the best fullback is, its gonna be neil....the guy has 1000 yard rushers ALL THE TIME...... | |

(scouts as well as players). the 2 guys you mention are well known in fact lo neal is the most over rated guy at his position. he somehow got a reputation for being a good blocker by playing teams like the raiders and the cheifs twice a year. he with d lines like that even mack-got-trucked could do well. and i don't know too many coaches in the league. 1 current and 2 retired, but i know a few scouts and a few players both past and present. so i am not going "to ask any nfl coach" about the fullback debate | |

Yes i think krieder is all right, you guys always have a strong running game, and fullbacks are part of it. But neal has blocked for three backs (actually more than that with tampa, and the saints)...but all of those backs have had monster years, it isnt just a freak of nature that it happens that way, there is a reason for it..... | |

There is a reason why teams went and got neal even though dillon, tomlinson, and george are pretty good backs. look, you think your boy is the best, whatever, im not gonna change your mind....but to call neal overrated is just plain stupid. Its kinda like people calling ben overrated cause he doenst have the best stats in the world, but yet he wins games.....open up dude, neal is a good football player, you think krieder is better, not gonna argue anymore, lets agree to disagree, but neal is one of the best fullbacks in the league, hands down | |

Posted: 7/22/2006 2:38:37 PM | | let me tell you what i think in case you missed it. lorenzo neal is over rated! i usually watch that position closely for reasons we won't get into. did i say the guy was no good? no . did i give you any reason to think that i feel the steelers are a bunch of all-stars? no. but i did not stutter when i said the guy is over rated. and i sure you realize that i come to that conclusion based on my own observations and the opinions of people closer to the game than i am. it is not some decree handed down from above and therefore open to debate which is what we have here. good luck to your broncos i fully expect to see them in pittsburgh in january | |
