| NFL Fans. Posted: 7/22/2006 10:18:33 PM | LOL. As far as Neal being over rated lets see
vs the Colts , Kreider had 1 carry for 7 yrds Neal had 4 carries for 17 yrds
Season based Neal 29 Carries for 98 yrds Kreider 3 carries for 21 yrds
Now you still say over-rated? Lets go back to the Indy/SD game who was it that made the block that sprung Micheal Turner for the long TD Run to snap the Colts undefeated streak? THats right Neal, and what happend when the Steelers payed the Colts? Kreidr was non-exsitent. As far as saying ppl agree that the Steelers are all-stars i see no one ageeing wow you have 3 good players
Ward,Porter, and Polamolu, every team has at least 3 good players or more, why not saying they are all star teams as well?

| NFL Fans. Posted: 7/23/2006 9:30:38 AM | | true but the sad thing is where was Kreider in the super bowl? Half the time on his back, or running like a **** hence the reason Big Ben was pressured and sacked in the game, Kreider doesnt a shit job ass job his postion, hell i could block better then Kreider watch how he blocks he stands straight up,. yet if u watch the rest of the FBs they actually get low and under the DL/Lbs | |

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/2/2006 8:10:52 AM | "You're sick of them.......imagine if you played them twice every year. My buddies and I, none of whom is a Dolphin fan, call the Pats "Jesus' team", because they get every call...if not for the "tuck" play a few years back and Bledsoe getting hurt there may have never been a Pats dynasty. Even the weather seems to cooperate w/ them. But the train stops this year and we shall return the Pats to their rightful place.....behind Miami in the AFC East standings. Make a deal w/ you. You dust the Pats in week 3 and Miami will punk out KC later on.....Deal?"
The Pats have easily the best coach in the NFL, bar none.
The Pats are the only real team that can handle any adversity in the NFL.
The Pats should have won another title last year...but they beat themselves.
Any intelligent football fan knows that the Pats got robbed in last years playoff game between the brokebacks.
The Dolphins are the team that is overrated.
The brokebacks have a good defense, but when your qb is a dumb bunny...your not going to win anything.
The Stealers won't be back next year.
The dolts will never win anything with this generations Dan Marino in the helm.

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/2/2006 9:45:10 AM | deejay,
"The Pats are the only real team that can handle any adversity in the NFL."-silly, unprovable statement
"The Pats should have won another title last year...but they beat themselves"---boo hoo....woulda should coulda.......but didn't
"Any intelligent football fan knows that the Pats got robbed in last years playoff game between the brokebacks."-robbed how?....like the Raiders got robbed in the "tuck rule" game a few years back...what comes around goes around. Pats fans can never again cry about the refs after that game........Brady throwing TD' to Denver DB's had nothing to do w/ being robbed
"The Dolphins are the team that is overrated."-That remains to be seen.......hurts though, doesn't it, hearing that once again, as has been the case for most of the last 40 years, Miami will sit above the Pats in the AFC East? And look up the stats......Brady saves his worst games for the Dolphins...they have his number.
"The brokebacks have a good defense, but when your qb is a dumb bunny...your not going to win anything."----they beat you guys!
And I already blew up your bash on Marino in the other thread. Face it....if Bledsoe never got hurt...if not for the tuck rule...if not for Vinateri....maybe no Pats Super Bowl wins. Fate smiled on them. Accept that and move on.....your time has passed.

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/2/2006 11:09:29 AM | | I think the Ravens are closer to an upset afc winning team than Miami, but both are conceivible. I can see Indy doing it this year though, just seems as good as chance as ever. To call Manning a Marino a compliment. I don't think Marino a loser, he never really had a Superbowl team, other than year one. I watched my Broncos get throttled in superbowls in eighties, 90's, the nfc was just that much better. I don't like Marino personally, but i wouldn't ditch as player. | |

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/2/2006 11:16:01 AM | e-man and other's. Do ya feel denver's running game could be in a bit of trouble? They've been waiting on Tatum Bell for awhile now, and although he got bigger last year, and did well until injury, he's often injured. Dane is good for the money, and they hope cecil sapp will come through, but lookin' like slim pickin's. | |

Im going to address every point you made.....
1. This one i can agree on, billecheck is one if not the best coach in the league...... 2. adversity?.....the only team?.....they had TONS of injury last year, and didnt win it....now i dont know if that is handling adversity, but that is my point to it. 3. they beat themselves?.....fumbling the ball is caused by DEFENSE causing turnovers....and brady throwing that pick to bailey was caused by the DEFENSE putting pressure on brady....stop whining and crying..you got beat... 4. Where did you get robbed?.....what are you talking about?....penalities?....that was an evenly called game....i dont get your point.....and besides...the pats have gotten EVERY call in the last 3 years....cant cry about it now... 5. dolphins overrated?....i dont know....we will see on that one.....i think the dolphins are going to be better than last year....but superbowl?....no i dont think that.... 6. our "dumb bunny" qb beat your golden boy brady .......brady only playoff loss is to jake the fake plummer....DEAL WITH IT..... 7. I agree steelers will not repeat....but will be a force in the afc 8. first of all being compared to dan marinon is really not an insult.....that guy left it on the field every play (im a bronco fan, elway is the man)......manning will get one....mark my words...its not manning fault that every time the colts play the pats, the ENITRE team decides to shut down...go look at marvin harrison stats against the pats...its fricking horrible....
Another whiny pat fan who cant come to grips that his team got beat by my broncos fair and square.......deal with it pat fan....this is fact.....brady ONLY playoff lose has come to jake plummer....want another stat?.....shanny is 4-1 against your genious coach.....hard to deal with?......DEAL.......

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/3/2006 10:41:37 AM | | Miami had a few thousand but it was probably even more uncomfortable there. Alot more to do in Miami this time of year than western PA I would imagine. I wish I could go to training camp. | |
|
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/3/2006 10:49:51 AM | As I had said before I'm new to watching football, I was watching the Ravens training camp last night and they said Derrick Mason and McNair were at Tennesee together and did pretty darn good. I think McNair might be the missing piece for a team with dominating defence, but little offence. Not saying they'll just dominate by far, but maybe he can help them get to the playoffs.
I hope it affects the darn video game too! So freaking hard to pass on madden with the Ravens! Won the Superbowl by using Jamal Lewin 9 out of ten times! LOL

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/3/2006 12:19:47 PM | | gent. there is not a lot here in western pa any time of the year. but there were people from new jersey, buffalo, lots form ohio and even virginia. football is the king in western pa. from the steelers on down to the youth leagues. when ben wrecked his bike the 3 local news channels had nothing but that on for a week. we could have been attacked by martians and the local media would have put that story on the back burner in favor of which molar ben lost. i've seen practice during the season but it was quite different from the "event" of training camp. | |
|
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/3/2006 12:34:39 PM | | Yes football is king. I'm well aware of the football history of Western PA...remember I'm a Dolphin fan...Marino is one of the products of that QB factory that is Weatern PA. Must be something in the water(Marino, Kelly, Montana...all from that area, right?) | |

its all the bi products from the paper mills up in ridgeway flowing down stream and the oil tanks in oil city that converge in parker to east brady then to pittsburgh football capital of the world. new england will lose to pittsburgh in heinz field to go to the super bowl pittsburgh will play carolina in miami
|
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/5/2006 1:56:58 AM | | The first guy I heard talkin about carolina. They are a good and no one gives them credit. I'm a eagles fan and I'm scared of carolina more then anyone else in the nfc. | |
|
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 12:38:15 PM | | The first guy on here to talk about them. All the ESPN meatheads are in love w/ them. I'm not sold on Foster and what happens to the passing game if Steve Smith gets hurt(remember he is a tiny little dude). They are definately a playoff team but a fragile one IMO. | |

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 12:47:53 PM | | how can you say if palmer doesnt get hurt the steelers dont go all the way? do you even have any idea what a healthy palmers all time record against the steelers is? Dont get me wrong, carson palmer is a great qb, but just like manning against the pats, palmer stinks against the steelers! | |
