| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 1:09:37 PM | | omg..the idiot factor just went up in this thread......first of all....palmer split with the steelers last year....the fisrt year..(his first year starting) he was 0-2...again it was his rookie year. I dont know if the bengals would have won if palmer wouldnt have gotten hurt. But if your a steeler fan you were happy to see kitna rather than palmer. Dont lie......kitna isnt even int he same universe as palmer.....just sick of steeler fans saying it didnt matter....it made a huge difference...steelers won the superbowl..they were the best team last year, wont deny that, but dont give me this crap that it wouldnt have made difference if palmer plays in that game..... | |

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 1:32:53 PM | | didnt say it wouldnt have made a difference assclown, i said they woulda still lost, take the sand outta your clit! Palmer chokes against the steelers, and thats a fact! | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 1:39:04 PM | | a lot of guys "choke" against the steelers. it has something to do with the defense. | |

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 1:41:08 PM | | yeah, like the broncos? lol! this guy is from colorado, no wonder he hates pittsburgh lmao | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 1:43:18 PM | | it woulda been a better game no doubt. I dont disagree with that eman, im just saying i dont see palmer like most people do, but at the same time palmer usually destroys everyone else. | |

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 1:47:16 PM | | wont apologize for liking the broncos, im a die hard fan, i was at the afc champ game. we got our ass kicked, i dont hate the steelers...i respect them for winning the way they did. Im not one of your typical fans that just say "my team rules, your team sucks bla bla bla"....I talk football, and discuss it, but i have heard from certain pitt fans that palmer or not it wouldnt have made a difference, any football fan is smarter than that to know that palmer is a way better qb than kitna, that is obvious as the sun coming out every day...... | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/7/2006 3:17:47 PM | | of course palmer is a better quarterback than kitna. but i too am one of those non-smart football fans that thinks it did not matter if they used joe namath and johnny unitas at the same time. they were not going to beat pittsburgh that day. and you could argue what if til the cows come home. what happened to palmer is as much a part of the game as dropped passes and missed blocks. stuff happens and if your "team" is any good you will over come it. | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/8/2006 4:25:36 PM | Losing your starting quarterback always makes a difference. Palmer's injury in that game was huge. He is the franchise. And when you look back at the Bengals the past 10 years, then you go to the playoffs and your franchise player goes down on the first play of the game. Psychologically, thats a killer.
The Bengals probably weren't gonna beat the Steelers that day, but with Palmer in for 4 quarters, it would have been a LOT closer of a game.

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/8/2006 8:14:55 PM | | i just read about the curse police in cinncinatti. they have a hotline you can call if you think a fan is unruly. does anyone think that this may be to counter the large contingent of steeler fans that travel to away games? it is no secret that they urged the ticket brokers not to sell tickets to people with a pittsburgh area code. | |

| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/9/2006 5:30:31 AM | What number do you call if you see another Bengals player committing a crime? 911? | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/9/2006 7:15:21 AM | is it true that a bengals huddle is now called a "crime ring"? | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/9/2006 7:26:02 AM | They'll be the only team in the league w/ 8-digit numbers on their jerseys. Just add black stripes to their orange jumpsuits and they'll be set. | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/9/2006 2:08:11 PM | they open the season against the guards this is so easy cav!!! | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/9/2006 4:45:25 PM | Steelers, aka Super Bowl Champs, for life!! Pre-seas starts Saturday and, hell, I'm excited about that lol.
GO STEELERS!!! | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/20/2006 6:13:28 PM | | STEELERS ARE DONE,COOKED,FINISHED!!!! | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/20/2006 6:29:36 PM | | boys youre all forgetting the most important thing, the bucs are he greatest team ever, regardless of what anybody says, and cadillac, simms, and clayton are only gonna get better | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 8/20/2006 9:10:23 PM | nah ahhhhhh, thats not true! How can the bucs be the greatest team ever when the steelers are the greatest team ever? Cadlillac, simms, and clayton are gonna get better, but so is roethlisberger, willie parker, and the rest of the NFL also. | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 9/5/2006 1:09:25 PM | Regardless of all the passionate views in this thread... football is the best sport; bar none!
Are you ready for this season to start already?
I know I am... | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 9/5/2006 5:09:37 PM | | I'm a huge Steelers, grew up with steelers fans, loved em all my life....but I'll admit Cinci could've beaten us no problem if Carson played the entire game!!! Madden picked them as the best team in the AFC. I also won alot of money on the Bengals last year so I ain't hatin' on Cinci and I gotta lotta respect for there fans for all those tough years. :P | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 9/5/2006 5:13:06 PM | | The bucs!!?? Wait till they play Atlanta's new defence. Atlanta is another team noone is expecting this year. They're gonna take Tampa's wildcard spot I think this time. | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 9/6/2006 1:37:28 PM | With Brett and Reggie the Packers are gonna... Wait! What year is this? Damn, I wish it was 96 again javascript:smilie(' ') | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 9/6/2006 2:06:15 PM | LIONS all the way.... wait I must be smokin' some serious junk... Bengals if they are healthy are almost a lock.... eat poop Patriot fans, your team is on the way down..... good year to start cheering for the Cards, if not this year then next they will be a play off team.... with KJ the Panthers have a second threat which will open the field for Foster/Williams as well as Smith.... Colts had their chance, but missed it by a mile - they'll be competitive but not a powerhouse.... the Giants still have holes to fill, but if Eli gets accurate they could do some damage.... | |
| NFL Fans. Posted: 9/6/2006 3:41:18 PM | | Eli has so far proven that he is NOT a consistant QB. I think there season will rely heavily on there defence. With an improved defence, and Tiki getting better with age...it should keep alot of pressure off him. | |

You know...crack kills. Pats will still be 1 of the top afc teams this year... hopefully will win it again.
