I'm a guy and I'm still a Virgin and I just turned 22 yesterday so I guess something is wrong. Not all relationships have to do with sex. I dated plenty of girls and it had nothing to do with sex, I wasn't in it for sex and most girls are like that. SO I don't care if she was a virgin nothing wrong with that, just means if u do have sex together for the 1st time for both of u its more exciting rather then someone whose had sex thousands of times already every night.! | |

And obviously if they are a virgin... It would not make me not love them the same, but it would make me wait to be their first until they know they are absolutely sure and I know I would be for absolutely sure. If they waited that long to do something, then I want to make it wait longer and be for the right reasons... Hopefully they are waiting for the sex and sexual things until marriage... Because that would be the best time.
Sex and virginity is both a sacred thing in itself... Heck so much now even though I love and enjoy it all... I still wish I would have made my first in marriage... I regret a lot of my past personally because I chose not to wait...
But that is what happens when you become over curious though...
What ever the case may be... There is nothing wrong with it... But if you are a virgin yet... Keep it that way until Mr or Mrs. Right... It makes it all the more worth it. Once you break that there is no going back... Then you can open up more...

I, for one, do not feel like giving up my virginity to a guy, then just be tossed away like a used Kleenex. I'm waiting until marriage. I know that isn't such a guarantee, but there's a lot better chance that the guy will stay with you after you finally have sex together if you two are married. Also, why is it *so* difficult to find guys who are virgins, and are planning to stay that way until *they* are married? Are you guys so insecure about *being a man* that if you're still a virgin after, say, 16 or so, you're automatically catagorized as gay, a loser, etc., just because you actually, maybe, just maybe, want to be in love with the person you have sex with? Ok, yeah, this came off as a rant, but I've been wondering these things for quite some time. | |

Posted: 11/5/2006 7:40:36 PM | really? wow i would think a guy would like a female who was a virgin because then they know that they don't have anyone to be measured up against, she will think he is god, you know she is clean, and granted they would be inexperienced but you could always teach them, and you would be teaching them how YOU like it.... especially if you like what society might consider wierd stuff cause how the hell are they going to know? well in most cases anyway, and you wouldn't have any of the "well my last boyfriend did that for me". and the amount of crap they put up with for being virgins, thats got to show some sort of backbone or confidence or something.
and not all virgins are virgins on religious reasons. some of them just have higher standards they aren't going to screw every tom****and harry that comes past. thats what i am. i am 19 year old virgin, not religious just haven't met a nice guy i wanted to sleep with. wow i really should not have read this thread, its depressing. i really always thought guys liked virgins. what was i smoking? | |

To the people who say that they would never date a virgin...
Perhaps they have forgotton that they were a virgin once too, and somebody gave you a chance.
Another misconception is that we don't know anything about sex, not true in the least.
Yes, it can be difficult when starting a new relationship and I have met my share of jerks, so when the right person comes along and is worth MY virginity, they will get it. | |
