Im not judging her as much as im protecting myself against a possible woman that thinks that sex is just a physical act and marriage is just a piece of paper and your partner is something u can interchange anytime something little goes wrong.

I'm a virgin... oh no i let the cat out the bag woops X.X lol its not a big deal. Like a lot of the guys here have said most girls who are still virgins haven't met the person they feel comfortable with to take that next step. I love my body and I'm confident that my partner would love it too haha I just haven't met "the one" yet, whose to say if we'll even get married lol, it's not about that anyways its about the way I feel and I know I haven't felt comfortable with any guy, or girl for that matter, yet to go that far. But on the other hand I don't feel obligated to have sex because there is so much more that can be done haha, why limit yourself to one action? Oh well, my two cents :)
Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying I think virginity is a bad thing, and I'd never suggest anyone do something that they didn't want to do - I just don't understand these people who think that because they take a stance on an issue, we all have to fall in line...

No true love - come off it mate. I work in a department with twelve other guys, and they're all pretty much "lad's lads" - but they are absolutely devoted to their wives.and significant others.

I don't like the comments some of the guys have made about virgins, but for the most part they were just stating a preference, not trying to force their morals on anyone else. That's the part I take offense to.
If guys don't want to date me because I'm a virgin, that's there prerogative. It is what it is- neither something 'm proud of, nor something I'm ashamed of. I don't think virginity- or being a non-virgin should be a source of shame, and I take offense to you insisting it should be.
I'm not looking for a pity date. I have plenty to offer, virgin or not. If a guy wants someone experienced, I don't want him anyhow. He'd just make me feel inadequate, and I can do better. There is so much more to a person than sexuality, and as long as they haven't been with so many people they've lost count, I don't think it's reasonable for someone to make it a deal breaker- it reduces a person's entire worth to their sexuality which is such a small part of who they are. With all of us (hopefully) having more to offer, I just wish people would look beyond whether someone was experienced or not. It does work both ways. | |

Posted: 8/6/2007 8:19:04 AM | I think it's less likely for me to feel compatable with a non-virgin than a virgin, but then I could be wrong. I tend to see non-virgin woman as being intimidating to me and of a different wavelength. I feel like a different wavelength compared to any non-virgin person male or female because I think the act of sex does something to someone's mind, personality and spirit since you are combining mind, body, spirit, soul to another person in a fusion mechanism. Thus one's total being is diluted based on the number of people they have fused with. Thus, a virgin girl is singular and has not been divided with anyone else compared to a non-virgin girl.
I'd prefer a virgin girl because it would seem that we are on the same page in terms of sexual experience, being a virgin myself. A guy has to feel in charge or be the man in a relationship and that feels harder to do if the girl has more sexual experience than I do. Now there are other variables of course, such as physical sex appeal and beauty and how easy a girl will put out that guys will look for more than if a girl is a virgin or non-virgin.
With my state of mind, as long as a girl is nice to me, then she's in my good books.
Very difficult to find a nice girl as I just think most of them are just mean, intentionally or not intentionally and that factors more than virgin or non-virgin right now. | |

1. im raising my kids catholic and to stay virgins till marriage. If she is gonna be with me we better both believe in this or she wont be with me.
2. For 2 people to be married they need to be walking hand -in-hand in every fascet of life, especially for me.
people fall mindlessly in lust these days, confuse it for love, then have children, and 1 year later the kids grow up in a sigle parent home. The parents say it just happened.
Well sorry, most of teh time it just doesnt happen. I think about all of that because i want a strong , loving family that also shares the same morals and love for god.
I will not be part of the 65% statistic. My friends tell me im too serious about this but i disagree. My parents been married 43 years and it wasnt all roses and cream. Marriage takes hardddd work, not just petals being thrown at each others feet or in the bedroom. | |

What makes you think a virgin would have to "go against me"? My position is one of letting people live their lives without others trying to make them live by their restrictions...
