| Re: what kind of music do you listen too? Posted: 7/7/2004 2:29:16 AM | ticket I can..and I would like that very much..
I know that they remastered everything when they went to the Sony label, but they used the same master tapes as the other labels used...they didn't use the originals for the older stuff, like for TNT, High Voltage< Dirty Deeds, Powerage, and Let There be Rock.. I would love to have it tho... email me on here k?

| Re: what kind of music do you listen too? Posted: 7/7/2004 2:45:58 AM | Audio CDS (February 18, 2003) Label: Sony Catalog: #80***
They used all the Original Master Tapes, not the production copies. Furthermore, this is not the Sony SBM Noise Reduction shit of 1994. These puppies are really clean which use Sony's newest 192,000 Khz, 448 Bit imaging technology, down-sampled to 24 bits/32 Bit Float, fully playable on any 16 Bit CD player, even more awesome on your DVD equipment. I can say so, since I have the 1994 Remasters as well.
There is nothing better out there. I'll do them up with EAC (F6) http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ and then compress them into the *.ape format http://www.monkeysaudio.com/
I'll get on it tomorrow, set up an FTP account, etc.

| Re: what kind of music do you listen too? Posted: 7/7/2004 3:05:41 AM | Oh Ok. Thats the compilation then, since even these Remasteres are compiles. I haven't checked on that. They are the North American issues, so I don't know if there are other ones out there for Europe or Australia. Nevertheless, all Remasters are done by Sony, New York, New York.
To the best of my knowledge, only BMG has Remastering Labs in different countries. Even EMI goes through Capitol Records, USA.

| Re: what kind of music do you listen too? Posted: 9/20/2004 9:59:41 PM | | All kinds of rock from metal to blues and all in-between. Still have a soft spot for grunge. Favorite bands include Aerosmith, Collective Soul, Audioslave, Bowling For Soup, Green Day, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Beastie Boys, and Bloodhound Gang. I'm also into techno and trance, artists like The Crystal Method, Fatboy Slim, BT, Paul Oakenfold, and Paul Van Dyk. | |
