Time to saddle up kids Sunday is going to be nice and I am free I know I told you I had friends from Montréal but they just canceled, so I am going Sunday morning. Meeting place Tim Horton @ Morningside and Kingston Road in Scarborough 9h AM. Yes it is last minute but I want to ride and will be riding alone if I have to but a prefer having a few more friends to enjoy this most excellent ride.

Hwy 7A to 28 to Bancroft and up to Hwy 60 By 127 and down thru Algonquin Park and back down Hwy 35. I will send a more detailed map for people that contact me for the ride.

Hi Folks,
Just wanted to jump in on your thread here. Ride a 02 Superglide which I bought last winter. Makes it my third superglide, just like that style. Would like to join a ride every other week or so for a lunch or dinner destination . Would be good if it became a regular thing.

^^^^^^^^ You can ride every Wednesday with me and my friends. We meet at the Timmies on Hwy 25 north of Hwy 401 in Milton. Show up with a full gas tank and an empty bladder because we take off at 7:00 PM sharp. I'm there around 6:30 to have a chat and a coffee.

I don't have a bike, but this weekend I'll be on a 1978 KZ1000, cruising to Trenton for the annual Ride for Sight, Kim Mitchell and David Wilcox are the headliners.

This is a general statement for all on this thread and not aimed at anyone in particular. It's not WHAT you ride but THAT you ride. We all face the same joys and hazards out there, we ride the same roads, deal with the same blind drivers, get hit with the same rain and suffer through the same construction mess after two hours of cleaning and polishing. 34 years in the saddle has taught me that.
I'd be glad to join in on a large group ride. I'm in the Ottawa area and ride a 2000 Honda Aero 1100 .

I have to agree with bluesthumper.

This was more about who rides than what they ride. It's a forum geared to an elite group of people with the urge to climb on 2 wheels. When I ride around Southern Ontario, I make sure to wave to anyone on a bike (yeah, even the moped geeks...lolol....okay..that was mean.sorry)

It's always nice to get that little touch of friendliness from fellow motorists. Other Bikes wave, while Automobiles tailgate or cut you off. Ahhhh... Heaven!

Only greeting I ever got from an automobile involve a lot less fingers!

I'm proud that I started this forum oh so long ago. Keep in going!!!

Scooters :)

Reminds me of when I first started riding. I learned and took my license on a Piaggio Vespa 150 Sprint. I had to use the hand signals as there were no signals.

And my Mom taught me how to ride :D

Ride what makes you happy. Thats what truly counts.

hey all,

i have a 2002 suzuki gsxr 600 & have been riding for 6 years. i'd love to do a POF ride as well but alot of the towns listed i don't recognize or are a ways away. if a group gets together in durham region i'd be into it. for the first couple of years i rode we'd get about 10 or so girls together for a day ride and plan our route to include some shopping and lunch. i'll keep checking back to see if anything comes up in my area.

Hey Tigergurl52, we have the same bike. Same year as well and it's a pretty dam good bike. My guy rides a Harley but we have no problems riding together, a little tough when its windy on the 401 but it gets us to wherever we want to go. I hope to upgrade to something with more power perhaps next year but I want to wait till I get my Full M in spring next year. As the other people commented on the forum doesn't matter what you ride as long as you out there riding and having a good time!

So Brian did you ever get a ride organized?? I would like to join but need advanced notice since most of the time I'm not even in the country. I just started riding last summer and it feels so right . Any riders in the Cambridge, KW area wanting to go for a cruise let me know.

Since Brian has already gotten the attention of a decent sized group of bikers I wanted to toss out a bit of info. Every August there's a charity ride out of Burlington (Club 54 to be exact) called The Radical Ride. It's always a beautiful route, good food, great people , fun after party (& pit stop) & a fantastic cause . There are several different groups that attend...wouldn't it be cool if a group of POFers made the event? I've made the trip from Detroit every year to support the cause (even had to claim the back of strangers bikes the past 2 when I didn't know anyone riding...so yeah, it's a friendly crowd..lol). There's more info on www.radicalride.org please check it out!

I agree with Bluesthumper , in that I have a saying that " We are All Briothers and Sisters on what every we ride " . Its doesn't get any better and nothing like the freedom of the open road .
