Not sure how I connected with this forum; interesting reading. I love motorcycles. My last one was 750 Virago. I have done some distance driving, Cape Code and out to Atlantic Canada. I no longer have the bike but the bug hits me every summer about getting back on the saddle. Sit on my patio and watch them drive by is as close as I have come to riding! Port Dover on the 13th...always a great time. Very rarely miss one, unless inclement weather (meaning snow!). Not sure if I missed it or not, but if an organized ride, I would love to be a part of it, but with someone who has room on the back!

Just got my first bike this year. '82 Yamaha 650 Seca. All red and shiney. It's a great first bike! Spent too many years waiting for people to ask me to ride, so I got my own and am I ever glad I did!!!!!!!!

Not really into the group ride thing, but if there's anybody out there in the Hamilton area who wants a riding buddy to log some miles with on a Saturday or Sunday....gimme a shout......I need all the practice I can get......my name sorta says it all........

Good luck with your bike search. Took me a year to find one that didn't need mega $$$$$$ to make roadworthy, so don't give up. Just keep lookin' and savin' your pennies cause the one with your name on it will show up when you least expect it!

Hey all

Looking at setting up a ride campout in Wasaga beach Would like to get as many pof bikers as possible. Would be a small cost for toliets and such, out houses and cleaning is a bath tub called the lake, keep it cheap and fun let me know, maybe even get a band for Saturday night or DJ

Get back to me Mistdog

I could be interested in a Wasaga trip depending on when it is. Are you thinking of doing a ride to and from there, or just meet there for a bike based camping event?

Wasaga Beach CAMP OUT. I am thinking of setting it up for next May,June or July it depends on interest, it can be planned for several runs around the area. Camp site would be able to hold about 250 people. If we can reach that number can also setup beer and food runs and maybe some patio dancing, or could hire band for Saturday evening. ALL is possible we are riders on the strom

After starting back on harlies a long time ago got fed up and went back to crotch rockets and usually trade in bike yearly for next fastest one. Currently Kawi ZX14 with around 190 rwhp. Just hang on diapers at your discretion lol.

I am glad I took the time to create this forum.

I guess I just haven't had the time to try and co-ordinate a ride. Now that I see that we have a fair number of riders, I can consider ogranizing a POF Spring Ride. Something we can take the winter to plan and have everyone really excited about it and looking forward to dusting off the seat, getting your spark plugs replaced, your chain oiled up etc. in May (as an example).

The ride would be on a Saturday, perhaps May 10th. WE could arrange the ride to end up at a location like a farm or a small town (Not Dover, those people need a little peace). We can show people what a force the POF Riders can be when we gather together!!!!!

I want feedback, I want some volunteers and LOTS OF SUGGESTIONS of where to go.

Surprise me!:modhammer:

Addtional Information -

I would suggest we raise some money on this ride for Breast Cancer, since it is such a popular charity here on POF.

I will look into the idea of creating a CREST to put on your riding gear and donate the proceeds to Breast Cancer.

Well i have a few bikes. A 1964 BSA rocket, A 1987 BMW R100 RS and A 2005 Harley FLGTI bought new in 2006 April and have put about 66,000 km on it since then. I am always ready for a ride I just need to know when and where and you never know I might show up. i ride most years from March to November. This year i was riding up till the 3rd week in January and had it out in the first wek in March. Well if there are any rides this fall drop me a line. Remember to keep the rubber side down and always check your tire presure. Have fun and ride safe.
