I'd like to add that not all older women parade themselves in skimpy clothes. Come up with flimsy excuses or kidnapping schemes to entice younger men such as the image of cougar displays.
Some older women lead normal lives, dress normal, behave quite ladylike and yet younger men still hit on them.
Well...... if the opportunity presents itself, like Want to travel says, why not! No harm done as long as things are upfront and straightforward.
I must say, it's been quite grand. Very much so.
But I wish cougar is left to older women who chase, not the other way around.

I'm sure that's true. It's definitely true as far as older women/younger men work. I just don't see why people can't date/see/sleep with who they like (as long as it's legal) without all the ****ing and name calling. If a man my age prefers younger women, then more power to him. What's wrong with that? I prefer younger men. No big deal either way.

I have gone out with a couple of them and I can honestly say that I am feeling the "cougar" vibe and it's not so bad. I get the whole boy toy idea and most of them like it. Altho, I have had a few that wanted to cling a bit and one of them offered to move me to his home town and "take care of me"...lol!
But let's get one thing clear... the whole answering the door in skimpy clothes or laying my the pool in a bikini is all Hollywood. I am a very down to earth, ordinary person and I still get hit on by younger guys. | |

I'm beginning to think that the older women are more mature mentally.
And I'm shocked by the amount of guys in real life who want a serious relationship with a significantly older woman.
IMO they don't work out due to being in completely different life phases. Fun for a while maybe, but I won't go there knowing it has an expiration date.....somebody is gonna get hurt. | |

Posted: 8/16/2012 3:28:31 PM | this topic cracks me up. back when i was 24 a woman from my church in her late 30's (i had known her since i was like 5 yrs old) started emailing me and it got out of control in a hurry. she was the horniest woman i have ever met, i still see her ever now and then and when i walk by its like i can feel the pull like a magnet. i did a lot of stuff i shouldn't have done and still feel guilty about, but boy did learned a lot and have some fun. i still love that crazy woman. then 5 years later i was 29 and started dating her 21 year old daughter. and i still love her too lol
i feel like a normal straight-laced person but then i think about things i've done and i'm like goooood gosh thats Jerry Springer material!! a beautiful woman is hard to turn away from, thats all i have to say about that | |
