Posted: 7/21/2009 5:53:37 PM | I am an American living in Canada. Yes, I would move back over the border should the right person come along. But I do love living here and it would make me sad to leave. Marrying a Canadian (I lived in New Mexico at the time) was what brought me here in the first place. When cancer took him from me I decided to stay, and I don't regret my choice.
The border crossing at Sarnia/Port Huron is an easy trip. I have my passport and a NEXUS card, and I've made it from my house to the Timmys by the bridge in 4 minutes. YES...I do get frustrated when I can't contact someone because they have their settings blocking anyone from outside the US. | |

Unfortunately, I dated one for a couple yrs. and after he stole a thousand dollars from me he stopped callings....surprise, surpise...I live 5 min. from him in Canada...I drove his kids to school, and basketball, etc. and yet, he still was not worth my trust. He lives in Port Huron Mich. and comes off as super, single dad. If any women are afraid of this happening to me contact me and I will let you know who he is. He is hot and intelligent but, a thief!!!!! Oh, and all he can hold a conversation about is basketball....big hint!!! | |
