| Tattoos Posted: 12/24/2006 7:51:55 AM | | All my tats can be covered when the occasion arises with long sleeves. I know how the stereotypes can get with them so if i feel its an inappropriate time to be showing off the ink i will cover them. Other than that i walk around showing them off with pride. | |

YEARS AGO I SPENT A YEAR IN LAS VEGAS AS A DEALER (CRAPS) FOR 6 MONTHS I KEPT MY TATTS HID THEN ONE DAY WHEN I WAS OFF AND TO HIGH I WENT IN TO PICK UP MY TIPS.AFTER THAT I WAS TREATED A LOT DIFFERENT ,2 MONTHS LATER FIRED ON B/S . SOME PEOPLE CANT HANDLE US INKED FREAKS AT PLAY.
Do ya think it may have been cause you were too high? I am an Executive for one of the BIG Three Computer manufacturers (you probably have one of our products in your home right now). I manage a 7.5 Billion dollar account for one of the big 3 automakers. I have tatts. They are visible. And ya know what.. not a single person cares.. cause I have the ink and i can still (gasp) do my job.....

| Tattoos Posted: 12/28/2006 1:07:54 PM | | I work at a bank and i have a few tats (7) but there all on my upper arms or on my legs back etc.. But there all covered up by a dress/golf shirt. Tatoo's should not matter in buisness but the fact is they do. I ran my own company for a few years and one day i ran into a client at the beach and he was shocked he actually said i thaught you were a respectable buisness man. This changed our whole relantionship and we never did the same volume of buisness again. I glad to see that this is relaxing a little bit with the next generation of buisness poeple comming in due mostly to the fact that tatoo's are viewed more as art and less of the whole "biker" image. | |

| Tattoos Posted: 12/28/2006 1:51:41 PM | I have a red ahnk on my chest, and way back when at my old job, my former boss thought i was some satan worshiper cuz of it...retard had no clue what a ahnk really means. I would tell him over and over again it means everlasting life..and he would just say " bullsh*t its evil!" He was a moron, anyways..I had to keep that covered for he was afraid some of the old folk biblethumpers in this small Texan town would freak out over it...pfft!
HAIL SATAN! | |

| Tattoos Posted: 1/16/2007 2:16:06 PM | | Hey guys, I'm back from message 80 and 82. I'm glad this thread is still kicking around. It's about 4 months later or so. I ended up going with my daughter, she got 2 bats (as in flying mouse) on her ankle, there is a way to get them on IM and she and her mom would sign off IM that way when mom worked out west. I am now pretty much sleeved up from elbow to shoulder both arms, about 12 hours over 3 sittings. All biker related on the left arm. My bike with brand logo above, skull above that, bent pistons at the bottom coming up the side of the front wheel, the whole thing tied together with flames. The skin without ink makes an inside image within the flames of a body riding the bike. Lots of colour, about half from stensil and half free hand. I love it. The other arm is a memorial to my ex. An angel with a broken wing walking a stairway into the heavens, with cloud cover and sun streaks through it. I am going in Febreuary 1/07 to get something for my children above my heart. After that, a break, maybe one day something for a new lady, it will take some thought, need to find the lady first, eh? For now I have the new me, my wife in memorium, and my kids. I'm glad I did it. | |

| Tattoos Posted: 1/17/2007 3:31:52 PM | mmMMMmmMMMm tatts. I have ...ummm (couting) 13 now. Working on a full back piece and sleeves. Haven't found any places that hurt. But my arm band i got like....12 years ago, in Barrie, he went way to deep, screwed the tatt, its all messed up, raised and scar'd, Brutal job. Didnt really hurt when he was doing it, but i could see him pushing the flesh around and he bruised the sh*t outta my whole muscle! I will do what i can to cover it up, but its unlikely it will fully blend. meh, lesson well learned.
Know thy tattooist! Know thy tattooist's work & art and talent.
My newest tat, is an eagle feather on my left forearm, got it here in Gravenhurst at Tripple Sick, young man knows what he's doin. Im very happy with the piece!

Oh, and some of mine can be coverd. i have a neck tatt, thats alil difficult to cover, but it can be if i wear a turtleneck. not that most people even notice it.

| Tattoos Posted: 2/2/2007 10:04:13 AM | I have 11 and counting... first was a little bit spur of the moment and let me just say, "when you're 15 you do stupid shit." as for painful? I don know about the chest...not my style The back, forearms, upper arms and shoulder were alright, leg kinda sucked but nothing to whine over.. THE RIBS were a ****! same goes for the 'elbow pit' everyone i knew witht heir elbow said it was a dirty spot to get done, my opinion they're big babies! But i suppose everyone has a different thresh hold for pain the inner arm was tender but again, nothing to whine over. For any girls that think tatts are hot on a guy...

| Tattoos Posted: 2/2/2007 12:38:11 PM | | I have just the one, A black panther on my inner thigh, climbing and ripping through flesh. It was symbolic to me of my survival of Cancer. Easily hidden by simply wearing clothes at all. Only visible when I am in a bathing suit. It is a shocker for the people who know me. | |

| Tattoos Posted: 2/2/2007 12:44:41 PM | I have 1, my fallen angel on my upper left arm.
People are still shocked (based on how I look and the job I do) that 'I' would get a tattoo...
But I love them and am looking forward to getting a bunch more. Including my children's name (in their own handwriting) above my heart, and a character from a project I'm working on (when it's done) to signify the work/time/effort I put into it on my upper right arm.
