I love tattoos on guys, but nothing overdone or cliche. I think full sleeves of meaningful or spiritual ink is pretty awesome. The thing I hate is poorly done logos of products or sports teams. Oh and I can't stand tribal, it's just not for me.
Lower back hurts, a lot. Not as bad as the neck though, or the foot. But be prepared for some pain!
I like arm and shoulder tattoos. Doesn't hurt as much and you can just throw a shirt on and no one knows it's there. | |

Posted: 2/5/2007 8:23:06 PM | I had a tattoo done 2 years ago. My b/f at the time told me i was going to cry and that it would be the most pain I had in my life even after childbirth. I went in to the shop terrified, really apprehensive, but gave in. I laid still for the hour, having the tatt on my shoulder blade did not have me not crying in pain but crying in laughter. The needles tickled me like crazy, I was driving the artist nuts with my giggles and wiggles. No pain whatsoever, but i hate that tatt..the artist was a newby and did not do the best job artistically. I have a promise from one of the fishies here that he will come with me and I will get my tatt fixed up, and he will get a new one. I may even get a second..or a piercing | |

i find the trick with getting ink done is just go with it and enjoy the experience, it's hurts if you're too nervous and tense | |

Posted: 2/6/2007 11:19:52 PM | I got my first one on the back of my neck a few years ago, now I have 4, all down my spine, am using Japanese symbols all in black, they signify character traits of mine, will eventually have the whole spine done, and ya it does hurt but I have found on the spine doesn't really hurt but to the side of it it sure does. I love tatts, find them sexy, just make sure you get em in a place that isn't in direct light all the time and won't change if you gain or lose weight. Girl I know has a pboy bunny on belly, she got fat, now it looks like a terradactyl
Chose your locations wisely, I chose mine for two reasons, the spine doesn't change and I won't have to look at em every day either so I'll never get sick of em

Posted: 2/7/2007 3:53:02 AM | The first thing that needs to be said is that tats have the potential of being addictive. I currently have five and I am itching to get the sixth. I love each of mine, because they all have a special meaning or memory attached to them...sometimes both. If you are planning on getting one make sure that is personal and not just some flash of the wall. No offense to the flash artists, but lets face it you will be more likely to not need a cover up at any time if you really love the design. I usually design my tat and then keep it in a place where I will see it on a regular basis, for a couple of months before I finally make the appointment to get it; that way I know that I am always going to be in love with it.
The next important step is to relearch the shop you are going to and look at the artists work the more info you have the better.

Pain is mind over matter.If you dont mind it dont matter.Plan your design carefully because it is there forever.Laser removal is costly and leaves a scarred,unpigmented area.
Also listen to thr artist when it comes to care.Not some no mind in the bar.

I say this because tattoo's should be something meaningful to you and have a story behind them. You shouldn't get tat's unless you REALLY want them, not because 'everyone else is doing it'.
I will be getting my 8th one this weekend...to date here is what I have...
Smiley face on right arm
Blue Rose on right shoulder (is a cover up piece)
Purple Iris on left shoulder (is a cover up piece)
Custom piece on my left arm
Custom piece on right upper thigh (it covers most of my leg from hip to knee)
four leaf clover with sparkles on right hand
Custom piece on left wrist
This weekend my 8th one will be my sisters name with ballett slippers hanging from it (another custom piece) on my left leg.
On women, backs are always good places, especially if you are worried about covering it up...me, I don't really care about covering them up. On men, I think having them on the chest
and the shoulder blades are HOT!!!! | |

I personaly have 7 tattoos to date and pan on getting more and thay have all been altered to fit me and all have special meaning.
I have 2 on my left ankel but looks like one, to me it is the bond between my mom and I and how we have over come all the things life has tossed at us
3 on my lower back that are for my true friends and what we mean to each other there are 2 more to go with them
and one on each shoulder for each of my parents my moms is a total coustom pice that has been copy writen and I get a kick when people see it and try and tell me they have seen it on a few other people LMAO
I am getting 2 more this summer on the top of my feet for me and my kids
I think tattoos are sexy on just about every one espicaly when they are costom pices every one is a one of a kind and I think any and all art (and thats what tattoos are) should be origanal like the person getting them.
now if I guys has piercig too OMFG thats it Im done have your way with me lol  | |
