| Tattoos Posted: 8/24/2006 6:08:34 PM | mystic diva...who was the girl? I get tattooed by Tara at Perfect Image and I just think she's the best ever.
Actually, the black piece in the middle of my back was done at Blue Dragon. I don't have any particular complaints about it myself, but I've heard mixed reviews about that shop in general.

| Tattoos Posted: 8/24/2006 6:32:45 PM | | I don't regret any of my tattoo's..I also only have 2 but meh!! They both have a great deal of meaning to me.. And I do think it's a smart idea to get them where you can hide them if need be, lets face it there are stereotypes out there everywhich way. | |

Tess is her name. She had her own shop Mmmondo Tattoo. Then she used Addictive as a space and only did special requests.
I had Anthony at Blue Dragon and am extremely pleased.

| Tattoos Posted: 8/30/2006 5:08:36 PM | | The pain thing all depends on the person...I have 7, one on the insdie of my right ankle, and it didnt hurt at all. i have one on my shoulder/ collar bone too that i was told would hurt and it didnt... the only one i think hurt a bit was the one i got up my side, and thats cause it was right on my ribs...I think as long as you dont get yourself overly worked up you'll be fine, they're fun. | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/3/2006 11:52:06 PM | I've got four, my last one (still not finished) goes from my third rib down to my pelvis. It's a custom pheonix that I drew and I have yet to experience this kind of pain. I sat for 6 hours for the first session, the needle got so hot that by the end I was thinking that maybe taking a sledge hammer to the crotch would have been less painful.
Despite the pain it looks beuatiful and I would do it over again in an instant...talk about messed up eh!

| Tattoos Posted: 9/4/2006 4:46:41 AM | | I have about 40 hours of work done on me through 14 sittings. My upper right arm is a complete sleeve and just have to connect the dots for the actual full sleeve. Left arm will be catching up soon and i have both sides of my chest done. It all started with one little wolf tattoo and after that they just kept spreading. Unexplainable. | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/4/2006 10:22:53 AM | | i have one tat...very small and it's on my left should blade! it's a canadian flag! i got it the day before i left for europe when i was 19, i think it hurt like a b*tch!!he said it would only take approx. 30 min and it took 1.5hours, i made him stop alot...keep in mind though that i had alot of going away parties before i got the tat, and i bled ALOT!!! i was supposed to go back and get it touched up when i got back , but have never gotten up the nerve to go back....it's been 5 years now!!!!I do want to get another one though, a tree frog on my foot by my baby toe! i love tree frogs and i think it would suite me very nicely...but i know it will hurt, so for now it will just be a thought!!! | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/4/2006 6:42:14 PM | The shoulder blade is a VERY sensitive spot. When i was getting my back piece done the virations of the needle were going up my shoulder into my neck and making my teeth vibrate... it was not pleasent.
Mind you.. the spot at the base of my neck..... i almost made a mess on the floor.. it was amazing.... :D
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/5/2006 8:11:19 AM | | Ive only got one for now , an egyptian ohnk on my chest, hurt like hell! I do want to get a couple more in the future! | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/5/2006 8:14:16 AM | | I hope to get a tattoo soon but I would have to get very drunk so that the pain would be numbed. i'm a big baby when it comes to pain lol. | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/5/2006 3:54:27 PM | | If you get drunk it's just going to be a worse mess. You'll bleed more, which makes it more painful and terrible. The worst tattoo sitting I've ever had was when I was freshly hungover (read: still drunk) after a hard night of partying! | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/5/2006 3:59:09 PM | I want to get one. I've been wanting to for awhile but can't find the time! Do I need an appointment? How long does it take? What's the least painful spot? I guess I should call eh? | |

Hey man.. getting a tat is all about the pain.. the ink is just a souvenir!
:D | |

| Tattoos Posted: 9/5/2006 4:42:47 PM | | d-belle... getting it on a fattier area helps re: pain so I am told as I only have one and it is on my thigh and it felt like someone lightly running their fingernails over a slight sunburn... not painful, not even really noticeable until near the end. | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/5/2006 6:50:44 PM | what happened near the end? | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/5/2006 7:35:42 PM | | after 3 hour sitting on my back it starts to hurt like a mutha...but that's the thing about tattoos - you just suck it up and do it! | |
|
| Tattoos Posted: 9/7/2006 1:03:10 AM | I have three and I am designing my 4th. They can be very addictive.
Make sure you'll want it 20 years from now.

| Tattoos Posted: 9/7/2006 5:25:06 AM | I think the tattoos on the lower back are attractive. I have a tattoo on my right upper arm, it didn't hurt/sting at all. It's a faery with no particular meaning other than I have loved faeries since I was a little girl.
My relationship of 17 years recently ended and I'm thinking of getting a memorial tattoo to help me heal from the pain of my divorce. I don't know where to put it, though. I've been sporting fake tattoos above my left ankle to get an idea of where I'd like to get a tattoo, but I wouldn't put the memorial piece there, probably something else. For now though I can't really decide, so I'll put it off until I'm sure.
I got my first tattoo five years ago and I can't wait to get another!
