Gay men dig stretch marks. I am guessing logic isn't one of your strong suits, because you seem to have all the logic of a bag of potatoes. there is nothing inherently masculine about scars.

Also, there are different degrees. Some chicks get only a few that can easily covered by their panties. I still consider this lucky. Then there are some who get a crap load (I would be one of these) that cannot be covered no matter how high the waist of the pantiess are. LOL | |

My stretch marks really bother me, im 22 and dont have children but due to wieght gain and loss i have them on them on my thigh and calfs! The ones on my thigh's bother me the most and i often cry about them! I was'nt big but id put on a few extra pounds while i was with my ex when he left me i could'nt eat for 2 whole weeks and as a result lost wieght far to fast! I feel like the whole relationship with him as scarred me for life and that no man will ever want be again! Once they see me naked they will think yuk and run a mile! Iv showed my mum my stretch marks and she said they dont look that bad but to me they do! Plus mums would'nt admit to them being bad cus they dont like to upset their children! So i dont believe anyone when they say that there not bad! This is such a sensitive subject for me! HELP! | |

stretch marks are kinda gross yes, but they can and will go away
if they arent there is only one reason for that, and that is fitness plain and simple
the cremes and ointments are to replenish your diet that you are either neglecting or just dont care about
then excercise brings back the elasticity of your skin
but they do go away no discussion here | |

I am very fit and eat healthy but still have stretch marks from my pregnancies. Shrug. No one is perfect, not even those playboy models (it's called airbrushing!) | |

Posted: 3/13/2007 3:15:29 PM | Ointments are a waste of time , I think you may be able to get a TCA peel to remove them , you can buy the chemicals on the internet , but warning be careful , I have not used this myself.
This wont help you but is a prevention that I found worked for me I have had *?* children and at one point went up to thirteen and a half stone, to prevent streeeeetch marks I used to place a bottle of olive oil in the bath water , When when I got out I rubbed the hot oil in all the succeptible areas, I never let the skin on my tummy dry out , like exercise it must be done regulary, its very soothing as well !! oh dont foget your back and tops of your thighs. You can get your husband to rub the oil in thats also nice hope this helps julia x | |

Where we guys can point to our scars and say that we got this and that in a sporting event, fight or accident, most women can point to their stretch marks and say, "This is from my oldest child and this is from my youngest!!" They have given birth and life, so there is real beauty to them. There's nothing more you can say to that.
Hey, I am in my mid 40s and date mostly women of similar age, most of whom have had children and have stretch marks. If you have had children and don't, you are lucky, but if you do, it doesn't matter to me. So you may have to retire the bikini, but I am not looking for a model, just a compatible woman. | |

I personally dont find stretch marks to be that much of a issue, its a GUNT that turns me off. there are women with stretch marks, then there are women with those flab pockets that flap around. and THAT is what is a turn off. who gives a feck about stretch marks.  | |
