Secondly - OP...tell her you'll "watch" her to her car...not "walk" her...might avoid an uncomfortable moment that way and she might respect you that much more.

IT must be the choices you are making. (one person's post did lead to this) Perhaps too young, perhaps basing it all on a pretty face Im not sure.... But I do agree with you! Sex seems to be the goal of most POFers.... Then there is always the "3rd Date" rule. Supposedly in this new age of dating, 3 dates = the right to be brash enough to presume sex is OK. Not in everyone's books.
As much as Sex and intimacy are part of a relationship, I do agree. Everything tends to move too quickly in the world of dating. Not my style.. obviously, not yours.
Chin up "so you've been told Handsome guy" LOL...Just be certain of your choices, and really follow your intuition, dont compromise and be certain in your convictions. Know what you do want, what you don't want and where you are willing to compromise.
As for myself, Internet dating/ meeting is not for me. Im going back to the tired and true ways. Meeting people through recreational events, friends of friends, grocery store..LMAO.. or perhaps just take a break.
Something I have learned. The more you think you "want something", the less chances you are to find that. Its when you are not looking / trying too hard etc... that you get wacked over the head and someone walks into your life.

Now as for why it happens...why would it be ok for men to have those sexual needs, urges, desires, etc....and not for women to have them. We women are no different...just looked upon differently for having them. Men are called studs women are called sluts...maybe this is a good thread for guys to start thinking about that one!

Maybe chatting longer and getting to know them better on line before meeting would help weed out those just looking for sex. Are you going for women much younger?
