Posted: 1/4/2007 8:51:47 AM | Well, so far, and luckily....no one from nigeria. I have had some local people who (I would assume) speak very broken english, because it carries over into their e-mails.
It's made for entertaining reading, but so far, I just delete and block the people I don't wish to hear from.

Posted: 1/30/2007 2:50:20 AM | I asked a younger guy this very same question from here....and hid responce is that he can have more intelligent conversation with us, and we know what we want in life, well for the most part...LOL.....but he as well as others, said they like mature women, because they aren't out to play head games.....as most of us older women have had done to us, and are sick of it our selves....we can show a man love, compassion, and have level headed conversations....and that's what they are lookin for......
Now I can't speak for all, but the ones that I have talked to have told me this.....
and on that note, I have to get my butt ready for work now.....I hope I have helped a little in this thread.....

Posted: 1/30/2007 6:37:49 AM | It's hard to say really. One motivation, I suspect, would be sexual talents. It's generally common knowledge that older women are more seasoned in that department and many younger guys have the desire to experience the fruit of it. Furthermore, I would imagine that some (and I'm about to get Fruedian on you guys) relate the 'older woman' concept to their mothers and yearn to return to a point where their most important relationship was with a caretaker. Someone older and wiser who can care for them.
That's just my thinking though. Personally, while I will go for older women (mostly by virtue of the first point), I don't make a habit of it and I would rather spend my time with someone with whom I can grow older with together. | |

At first it was insulting and then I tried to broaden my horizons, so I asked some of them why........Older women know what they want and aren't afraid to express it. Older women don't play games and don't have to have their girlfriends along for support. Older women have more intelligent conversations. One guy (27) in person asked me to go out with him and I asked why.......I told him he probably didn't even know WHAT it is that he wants. His reply "I know what I need"......LOL, at least he was honest. I have never been out with one of these younger guys...........geez, my son is 27, but I do chat with them on messenger. Some of them seem like very nice people and they never give up! | |

A older woman has experience, will call ya on the bs and i know for sure, she if sh's patient enough will teach that lucky young man a thing or two.. i was that lucky young man once and lemme just say Ya'll Rock!!! So dont shy away from dont look at him with "those" eyes, you just might find your self pleasntly suprised.

Maybe these younger men have had past experience with older women and enjoyed ''whatever''.Grandpa still was after Grandma at 75. Now I don't go any older than maybe 12 years over me, but I am just looking for friends as well right now. I am not looking for anything serious either. I just want someone who can hold my attention in a conversation. Most of the older women are able to do that. Now I know there are some my age as well that can do that, but most of the younger crowd just want someone to date so they can say they are dating an older man and there is sometimes nothing there. I am coming out of a 5 year marriage to a younger woman who just decided come last august that she didn't have any feelings for me anymore. We share a 4 year old daughter together. She is now dating her ex bf from HS who already dumped her 3 times. Confuses me, but oh well. Life goes on. ANYWAY, like I said, most of the older women know what they want and half the time they are more mature than their male counterparts of the same age range. I am not saying I am perfect, I am far from it, but I would take an older woman who is done with games and can stimulate me intellectually as well, over someone my age or younger who just wants to have "fun" all the time and not actually spend any quality time with me or who can't hold my attention in a conversation. Is that too much to ask? Just wondering. | |
