No, No , No , got players like John Mayer that play more blues based guitar style, and then Kenny Wanye Sherphard another great guitar player. I dont think rock and roll is dead, and go to you tube site and you will see 12 year old playing led zeppelin to rolling stones, and rock roll will never die. Without the electric guitar thier would be no rock and roll. Puts a me on my face to see the younger kids still learning the classic rock tunes, to blues, and other music hehe.

No way . Radio is mostly rock music . Go to the music section and there is a high percentage of rock on the shelves when compared with other music.

No. Even teens and preteens listen to rock music. My nephew is crazy about Neil Young, and my niece introduced me to Avril Lavigne.

Rock and roll will never die. It appeals across generations.

Rock on!!

Rock and roll can never die...This is no social crisis...It's just you having fun

Even IF rock is dead, there's plenty of great stuff in the vaults that I've never heard yet.

I don't think Sara McLaughin and John Mellencamp are any sort of experts on Rock n Roll. Maybe on Middle of the Road, or Easy Listening.

GOD GAVE ROCK-N-ROLL TO YOU!!! PUT IT IN THE SOUL OF EVERYONE!!!
ROCK AND ROLL AIN'T NOISE POLLUTION, ROCK AND ROLL, IT WILL SURVIVE!!!
ROCK,ROCK, TILL YOU DROP!!! ROCK, ROCK, NEVER STOP!!!
TURN UP THE RADIO, I NEED TO HEAR IT, GIVE ME SOME MORE!!!
HE WAS TOO OLD TO ROCK-N-ROLL, BUT HE WAS TOO YOUNG TO DIE!!
LONG LIVE ROCK, I NEED IT EVERY NIGHT!!!
IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE THE ROCK AND ROLL!!!
ROCK AND ROLL HOOTCHIEKOO!!!
hehehehehehehehehehehehe
FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK......WE SALUTE YOU!!!
warning: the surgeon general has determined that rock and roll music, administered
in the correct dosage, can be detremental to your attitude and mental stability, as well as your hearing.
Rock and Roll is my religion and my law...... and as long as I have an amplifier, two
moniters, and a cd player and a pulse it will thrive. To those who have blasphemied
"the art" by even suggesting the thought of it's demise: you obviously do not comprehend the genuine article. I'd invite you over for a demonstration, but you would just end up running away holding your ears, screaming in pain.
Besides if someone has to explain what "Rock-n-Roll" is to you............
you simply would never understand. Rock and Roll has made me a better person,
and a wealthy man!
thanks,
Shomesomethin....aka Rocknrollibra79

Rock and Roll is soulless... for now. You have to dig in order to find ANYTHING of substance. It is all cookie cutter filler. Rock and Roll will have to go back to its roots... the blues. That is the only way it will get its soul back.

Fat Possum Records has some really great artists.

Not a chance, then what will be stuck with. That sorry excuse for music called rap or hip hop or whatever you want to call it. Or those pop tarts that basically have music written for them, lip sync or sing karoke. Compared to the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Doors. Luckily those bands are so good that the songs can be listened to over and over again.
