| Would you prefer to date someone with a cat or a dog? Posted: 1/10/2009 9:35:19 AM | | I'm cool with someone that has pets even though currently I don't have any and I'm not allergic so that wouldn't be an issue. The only issue for me is that I like to take road trips and always having to find a place for the animal where they'd be well cared for. | |

| Would you prefer to date someone with a cat or a dog? Posted: 1/13/2009 12:43:08 PM | Well I met my girlfriend over 6 months ago. She has an 8 year old Cat who hates most people, but I seem to get along with him just fine. But I would say I prefer dogs, because they are simple and loyal creatures, a bit like me. So I just bought myself a Sibe Husky a few weeks back, and am picking him up from the breeders in 2 weeks, and I'm sure it's going to be an awsome adventure!
I would have to say I prefer dogs over cats. As for dating someone, well, it's their choice what pet they have.

| Would you prefer to date someone with a cat or a dog? Posted: 1/15/2009 11:05:31 AM | | I've had both for over 20 years till a few years ago when they passed due to old age. If I had to choose for dating purposes only I would say cat because you can leave them for a weekend alone and they will hardly notice you were gone. That is if you left them enough food... | |

I have worked in pet stores, so I am pretty much comfortable with any animal (rodents, fish, reptiles, amphibians, cats, dogs, birds, etc). I just don't like any arachnids.

Posted: 1/15/2009 5:08:59 PM | | I have cats, 2, I'm open to any of the three, however, that said, i do live in an area where anyone's outside pets should have their rattlesnake vaccine before they come play outside in my place, just in case...Sorry Georgiana, one of my cats licks worse than any dog you scratch, he washes in return

If you hate her dog all you need to do is throw a tennis ball over a cliff...
Fable 2 reference?
Anyway, I like cats, dogs, and ferrets. As long as the pet is well behaved indoors I can deal with it.

| Would you prefer to date someone with a cat or a dog? Posted: 1/15/2009 6:42:54 PM | | It's right in my profile "Must love cats." It's a must. Bonus points if he has a cat. He must have had a cat at one time or another. Otherwise, no date with me. It's a non-negotiable date maker/breaker. | |

I've dated the dog chicks. No more. No dogs in my car anymore, period. No dogs coming on vacation, period. No dogs in my house, period. No more "I can't stay over, who's going to walk the dog?" No more rushing her home in the evening to walk the dog, then rushing her home in the morning to feed and walk it again. And the poor creature is upset being home alone. No more 90# Rots sharing the bed or ill-mannered Bostons chewing my $400 boots.
Unless she lives with family, Dogs = huge restrictions
