If they're living with you, you can always pin an eviction notice on their pillow.

On the sitcom "Grounded For Life", they did a "breakup" montage of the father's sleazy brother Eddie breaking up with various women. To the first woman he says "It's not you, it's me." To the second woman he says "It's not me, it's you." Then to the third woman he says "It's not me, it's not you, it's SOCIETY"!

>>actsofkindness: Let's see, the crappola thrown at me over the past few years......1. "It's not you, it's me". "I just don't have the time right now to date, I'm too busy" (then why did you bother in the 1st place?).

I had a similar experience "actsofkindness": One woman talked me into driving 20 miles for our first date. At the end of the date she told me that she was too busy with her career to date; specifically she said "Everything is telling me DON'T DATE, but since I told you I'd go out with you I wanted to be true to my word." Yeah, she had a lot of integrity for "one date tease" (it was her, not me, who brought up the subject of sex during our date).

We are each looking for something different. We need to compromise but how much??
The last relationship I was in truly was with a guy who did not "love me the way I wanted to be loved". With that goes not being treated the way I want to be treated. Sadly, in frequent conversations, dude just did not get it. So... one has to move on and hopefully find someone that is a better fit that gets it. NOT an easy challenge, especially as we get older.

More of a brush-off line, which, no lie, my exboyfriend (when we were friends) used on a girl that he didn't want to see...
She asked him if he was busy that night...His response: Yes
Her: Can I come over for a bit?...Him: No, I'm busy tonight. I have church at 9am and I'm washing my hair tonight...(mind you he shaves his head)...

I found it amusing.

Break up line....
1. Yes, I'm in love with you. Yes, I want to spend my life with you. But, I'm doing you a favor by leaving you. You're better off without me. You can have your life back now.

2. Go s**k and f**k whoever you want now.

3. Just pretend I'm in jail, you'll be happier that way.

4. You're as dysfunctional as I am, I just don't see this working for our therapist.

All of these I have either witness being used or had used on me.

The best one so far was just last Monday night.....I had been going out with this man for a few weeks.....it was actually more of a booty call than anything else, but I was very in lust with this man.....and since I write stories, I decided to write one for him....it was a short story, just 2 1/2 pages long....but extremely intense. Well, after I sent it to him in email, I got this response......

"The story was very good, but the fact that I was the inspiration was too much for me. I'm not cut out for this. I thought I could be, but I was incorrect about myself. We have had incredible times, but I'm not able to continue this sort of relationship, and I'm feeling really guilty that I asked you over on Saturday. With everything boiling in my mind, I should have known better, as that wasn't really fair, and I never should have. For that, I have the only regret of our time together. I'm going to take the easy way out, and drink the blue potion, as it's the only path I can take. Take care and be well."

The line...."I'm going to take the easy way out, and drink the blue potion" comes from the story I wrote. I thought it a sweet thing to write but it still broke my heart.....well, maybe not my heart but it definitely hurt.

"I'm dying...and I can't ask you to watch me slowly fade away....Please, go now and remember me as I am"

I'm considering suicide because after being with you, hell should be a breeze.

You looked better when I was drinking.

Time for you to go - I gotta reduce the number of dependents that I claim on my W2.
