Fantastic idea! Played on the collegue team and completely enjoyed myself. :) Mind you, I like 6 hours away. and work most weekends now. But, if ever it comes my way, catch you then. :)

This would be a one time thing for this summer, if it goes well, I'll do it again next summer.
So far it looks like there are about six to eight people who are interested, so what I can do is inquire about booking one court for an hour, and if we get an influx of people I'll get another hour. If we get ten confirmed YESES that's $5 a player/watcher for TWO hours of court time. The rest of the time can be spent drinking in the bar. The booze is reasonably priced as well, and there's a patio for the "player watchers".
If you people don't mind, could you please send your friends the link as well. If I get a few more confirmed, I can get another link started with a "button" and we can get this thing off the ground.

OPPS........over posted.......thought this was going to be a weekly thingy........dammmmm well if it evolves........then wednesdays work for moi...............muahhhhhhhh

Ability is not the key factor - enthusiasm is. I'm certainly up for it as long as the night or weekend fits into my schedule. I would think POF should be capable of getting at least 4 courts' worth of matches going...come on guys, summer's slipping away! | |

Posted: 8/29/2006 12:19:10 AM | Looks like the interest is up Aficionado and Babygirl, so I'm going to talk to the owner tomorrow and see what he can do for us regarding a weekend night/afternoon. I'll try to get a Saturday afternoon sometime in September first, but if that doesn't work out, I'll see what the guy has available for a Friday night. To answer your question some more Babygirl, I'm shooting for Mid-late sept since there's quite a bit going on at the beginning of September re: pof parties.
Let's see some more postings to get the hype brewing peeps ;).

LMAO! somebody make sure stardust signs up for this one. that woman is a SUPERSTAR. she took all the dives i wasn't willing to!
dantes - alfino ain't no shaq-attack either, but he did a'ight with the vertical challenge!
side note: he cheats by distracting the other players and so does mamasan (no facking skirts this time woman!)
