Posted: 10/1/2006 11:09:53 PM | OP, not gonna pretend to speak for all men, but will give you my take on it.
For starters ladies, it is not all about seeing "T&A" give us a lil more credit here. Last I checked Men have Breasts and an ass too, so if that was all it was about we could spend the day looking at ourselves in the mirror. Thinking that way, in addition to being crass and short sighted, just makes you sound vapid yourself. Think outside the box a bit.
Now it so happens, I had the good fortune to be trained in the fine arts for 14 years, and it is about the beauty of shape and form, not one specific "part" or another. I can look at the nude female form and find beauty in it, regardless of whether I might be physically attracted to the woman or not. For instance, while BBW's are not my personal choice, I can in fact both see the beauty and apreciate their natural grace of form. Imperfection in and of themselves can be beautiful as well, if viewed under certain conditions or lighting (and no I don't mean in the dark wiseguys). The curves of the body, the shape, the depths and elevations of the form are what make it both aesthetically appealing as well as interesting.
Women as a rule tend to be more curvacious, as oppose to angular in form like men. This is something an art student learns in Art 101. Curves, are more aesthetically appealing to the human eye, than angles. Hence why the female form is more frequently celebrated in art than that of the male form. It simply is more aesthetically appealing by it's basic nature.
This is proven when you look at common objects in the real world as well. Automobiles these days focus more on softening angles into curves. A sexy car, is one with few hard angles. When we landscape our homes for instance, we tend to select and place plant material in such a way to soften the right angles of our homes, making them more visually appealing. Invariably spheres, and cones are more pleasing than squares or rectangles.
So it is not all about "T&A" and more about what our brains (and the brains of women as well for the most part), find visually appealing.

Lingerie (sp) works wonders. I look at their hearts as well. A beautiful woman with a great heart turns me on naked or not the same! Posted: 9/3/2007 11:15:38 AM | | i find i am different with different partners. my last partner has a very high sex drive and loved my body and i was very sexually confident about it. my patner now makes me feel a little less so. i know its alot to do with my insecurities as i have always been a bit hard on myself but he has got a lovely body and he is from slovakia where most of the girls are naturaaly slim whereas im a size 14 uk size and 36 dds so i worry its not what hes used to. | |
