I am no BRAD PITT therefore I do not really look at the Jennifer Aniston's.

I freely admit I am a size 20...I don't ever forget to buy Thin Mints from the Girl Scouts this time of year. I also can't remember what color my hair actually is because I've been coloring it for the last 20 years! My nails? Those are fake too!
To be Barbie would be something I can't do. I heard years ago that Barbie's measurements aren't even in line with a normal female. What is this telling our little girls? Sorry, I am (outside of my hair and nails) 100% real and I am happy with myself.....I don't have time for Ken. He usually has more issues than I can deal with anyways! | |

Sending someone a message and not getting something back....well, men send me messages and it's clear that we're not even close to being compatible. Open minded or not, I have some set standards and preferences. I do not feel it's wrong to not want to chat to someone you're not physically attracted to. Everyone finds different people attractive, but I also look for someone who can keep me motivated and active and who looks after themselves. I would say stop blaming the men, and work on your own confidence. There is someone out there for all of us. | |

Try adding clear, recent, and flattering pictures of yourself. Also try to create a profile that outlines who and what you are...things you like to do, where you like to go, what a great first date would be, etc.
And don't be so specific on what you are looking for that other men don't even bother messaging you! OP, by saying that you want men 6 feet and taller, you're scaring away all of the great shorter guys who would message you but think they are wasting their time! | |

Theres some words and statements that get used so much they have no meaning at all anymore.
1- Open minded. this really means they have their opinions and if you share them then you are open minded as well.
2- nice guy. ready to vomit yet? I think they mean "Im a pushover, abuse me so I can whine later on about how nice guys get abused"
3- Average body type- everyone from a scrawny stick-girl who think she needs to puke a few more times to be slim.. all the way up to the fat girl that break chairs when she sits... both types are prone to call themselves average. There is no average.
4- Like to laugh/have fun. Show me someone who dosnt.
But take heart, theres no open minded women out there either.

That is waaaaaaaay too true. That's one of the reasons I hate filling out the profiles. It's so hard to find the right things to say. Most people are superficial (well, maybe not most, but a lot, at least). I look for a few key words, if I see something interesting, I send a message and hope they reply. If not, I try not to lose hope. I look at profiles that don't have pictures, but I'd be lying if I said looks weren't important. It is about attraction than how the person looks (or so I think). I value a person's mind as much as, if not more than, a person's looks. It drives me crazy when people don't spell out words when talking. Whatever happened to the English language???
I don't care how good looking you are...if you constantly misspell words or use short hand (how r u 2day, etc), I won't talk to you. | |

I would like to think I have a lot to offer except I don't have Barbie's dimensions and never will. You know what? I am happy with that! Granted, I can't find as many of the cutsey outfits in size 20 as I used to a few years ago in size 14 but I am happy with myself! I take care of myself (especially my appearance) and I have a wonderful career and wonderful kids....not to mention I live in a beautiful place. What more could anyone want? I am sure Ken is lying at the bottom of a burn pile somewhere right near Barbie! | |
