| Stood up w/o ANY apology!!! Posted: 7/20/2006 5:27:54 PM | I had a real winner two weeks ago. We chatted, we talked on the phone, we were getting along great. She lived about 3 hours away, I had a day off, fab. I go to her town, call her up, she comes out to meet me with two kiddos in tow (Red Flag #1 but still, fab) We had a very nice lunch at the lake with the kiddos playing in the water, fab. She says "OK, I'm going to go drop the kids off and I'll be right back" Right. She's gone 30 min, fab. She's gone an hour, I scoot into town for a sixer and some dinner. When I get back to the lake theres a party getting started, so I'm there until about 2 AM, but I never heard from her again. Guess what that is.....That's right FAB! Never tie your fun to another person, if you do you'll almost certainly be dissapointed. Be your own dawg | |

| Stood up w/o ANY apology!!! Posted: 7/20/2006 7:15:47 PM | | I've been on here for a LONG time, and met a lot of people from here. Every single person I arranged to meet with were there when they said they would be. Except one. I even talked to this particular girl on the phone before meeting. Arranged to meet at a local pub. I got there at the arranged time, waited for about 45 minutes. No show. Went to a pay phone, and called. No answer. Got the answering machine, left a message. Went back, waited another half and hour. The waitress told me that I had a ton more patience than her, and she'd have left after 20 minutes tops. Finished my beer, and left, after trying her number once more and getting the answering machine again. Came home and emailed her on here. Twice. Asking for some explanation. Both messages were read and deleted with no reply, and no apology or explanation offered. That was over a year ago, and she's STILL on here. | |

| Stood up w/o ANY apology!!! Posted: 7/21/2006 9:58:40 AM | | I didn't show up to meet someone but I was just divorced and scared and the thing is I went to my car a couple times but just couldn't do it. I IM him and told him i was sorry but we didn't even talk on the phone yet. After this so much happened and then I went on vacation and told him I would call and I did but two days later then I was going to cause of getting to where I was going. Well anyway I did call him and we talked and everyday after that and when I returned we met and WOW he is the greatest. I think I needed more time to know him but things are going good. As for you if she is deleting your messages she is not worth it. Good luck and there is someone there just that you have to go through the bad to find the good. | |
