| Foods you loved as a kid, that you STILL LOVE!!! Posted: 8/28/2006 7:41:22 PM | what a fun thread, ok:
PB&J on white bread (so it's squishy) and I still like to eat the crusts off first... homemade mac&cheese I would love to still eat this, but it's a heart attack on a plate: a family sandwich we call "Bull-fries" It's fried bologna, homemade french fries on bread that is grilled in the pan where the bologna was cooked... with mustard...delish!
Candy: bottle caps laffy taffy (solely because of the name) double bubble fizz candy berries hot lips and feet hot tamales spearmint leaves tart'n'tiny candies (yes, I am getting older...)
I also preferred Frankenberry, Lucky Charms and Honeycomb cereals...

You take toast, with a slice of processed cheese and a piece of bacon cut in half. Then broil them until the cheese is melted and bacon starts to sizzle again. YUM!!

| Foods you loved as a kid, that you STILL LOVE!!! Posted: 8/29/2006 4:26:05 PM | I never liked cheese growing up, so my Dad would always make me a grilled peanut butter sandwhich whenever the family would have grilled cheese. Having that with a bowl of tomato soup always hits the spot on a cold day.
Most of the sweets that I had as I kid, I've cut out nowadays (I just don't crave sweets that much anymore). But Toffifee is probably one of the few that I still have (it's a Christmas time thing). And cereal. Shreddies with a sprinkle of brown sugar on top, although I haven't had that for awhile. Hmmm....'scuse me a moment while I'm just going to scoot to the nearest grocery store.

| Foods you loved as a kid, that you STILL LOVE!!! Posted: 10/16/2006 4:10:38 PM | OK.. for some this might be gross... but I love it love it love it
My aunt used to make it for me when I was ill... but it was Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup with melted cheeze whiz mixed in... giving it a cheesy flavour... and she would add extra noodles for me. That with a grilled cheese sandwhich.. is the best comfort food for me...
I also love grilled peanut butter, banana & hunney sandwhiches.. but that is oooo so fattening but OMG toooo good!
There is my father's infamous Cracker patties with crushed tomatoes... ssoooooo goood!
I was a KitKat lover (yes... I still am lovin Ms. KitKat too) and Smarties... but as an adult... I've stepped it up to M&Ms... with peanuts!
Dammit, now I'm hungry...

| Foods you loved as a kid, that you STILL LOVE!!! Posted: 10/16/2006 8:27:06 PM | | Grilled Dantes Inferno on a Stick, I hear they go great with an old bottle of Peach Shnappps. The trick is you have to hold the bottle of Schnapps real tight while the sandwich is grilling for maximum effectiveness and dance to the happening tunes of the Village People for the right crisp. | |

I think I came out of my mom with a plate of pancakes and maple syrup, that's when I was hooked. I remember slapping the Doctor for trying to snatch my food too
