Your two headshots by yourself give kind of a deer in headlights look.
The one pic in which you are smiling you are 10x more attractive.
I say get rid of the head shots and replace with smiling ones that have better lighting.
More interests listed won't hurt
I'd like to hear a bit more about your personality-- don't use a long list of adjectives.
Say what kind of people you are looking for.
I'd like to see what you do when you relax with your friends.

-- I don't like questions like this. It takes the fun out of online dating and turns it into something heavy and uber-serious. Try a more lighthearted comment.
It's a nice quote but I like it better when people speak for themselves.
I dunno about others... but I kind of skip over the words if I know it's a quote by someone else.
Read this entire thread for ideas on how to write about yourself and what you want.

I think you list a lot of adjectives. These words can mean different things to different people so it would be good to describe how you are caring etc...
I have been through a hell of a lot in my life
-- kind of negative, says that you have lots of baggage
-- is there a more positive way you can say this? maybe something along the lines of you've had an interesting life ....?
I have been divorced for about 6 months, and as much as I like my freedom, I miss being with someone
-- I'd rather see you tell us something else about yourself. I think that telling people you are recently divorced might make some people feel nervous--- like you are looking for a replacement.
I am looking for an honest, caring person that is open minded and understanding.
-- A lot of people are looking for that. You can be a bit more picky. DO you like quiet people? Chatty people? Type a personalities? Girlie girls? What? | |
