Posted: 12/20/2007 2:05:31 PM | Msg 31. Would it not be better for us scots to stick together rather than slagging each other off. Im from Edinburgh and dont consider myself to be either a WANKER or an arrogant tosser or whatever the delightful words were that you used.
I know a lot of glaswegians and there is good and bad in Glasgow just like any other place. Most of the 'weegies' I know are friendly people but so are most of the people I know from Edinburgh so I think you may have just been unfortunate OR it could be that you have a massive chip on your shoulder re Edinburgh and its population in fact you cant even say the name in your post, referring to it as 'That place' . Slightly OTT dont you think? after all it has just been voted the best city to live in this year so we cant all be that bad mate. | |

i know here in my town thats what we call ye! im from ireland btw, so maybe its wrong, but i have heard northern irish folk also refer ye to that name!!
