| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 7/24/2006 10:12:29 PM | The best years of my life were when I hit 30 - Became closer to my family, found out who my true friends were - found out what I really wanted to do with my life (that one I wish I would have found out earlier) - and had a relationship that was the best ever - that made me a stronger, better person for being in it (we are still friends). But when I hit 35 - for some reason I hit a wall sort to speak - and started freaking out - but thank god I am over that (helped when I got ID'd for smokes lol - and no she wasn't wearing glasses). Age is a number, its the maturity that matters - but I am someone that will always be young at heart - just like my father - and he is 73. My aunt who is in texas is 76 - and she gets mistaken for 50 all the time - hope I keep up that well - time to go to the shoppers drug mart and buy out the oil of olay lol | |

| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 7/25/2006 11:19:02 AM | I love being in my 30s.
I feel much more comfortable in my own skin and feel like I have some concept as to how parts of the world work.

| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 7/27/2006 1:06:24 PM | | I just turned 40 and absolutely love my age! I wouldn't go back for anything...there is so much more about myself I've learned and most importantly, learned to love. Thank god for the jerks, because they are the ones that show you what exactly you deserve to have/love in your life. | |

| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 7/27/2006 3:17:15 PM | Hey people! a lot of my friends had a crisis at 30, i was too busy being single and pregnant to worry. I just turned 36 (yes really 36!!) in July and I have more confidence, love my body, not worried about 40 (bring it on) and never date older guys!! and I take lots of holidays. Love and live your life and slow it down by chillin out, but never stop! H x | |

| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 7/27/2006 6:18:42 PM | I don't know about that. I know that everyone around me that is 30+ acts like they are 80. I like to get out and go. However everyone wants to stay home twiddlin' their thumbs. Hell, my last gf was 8 years younger than me, but acted old as dirt. I think age is very relative, but where I live one is expected to settle down much earlier in life. Now I am that creepy old guy.

I hate it when people under 25 start applying those stereotypes to me, even if I only look like I'm 25 in appearance. The differential treatment starts the moment I 'fess up to my age.
Why is there such a strong stereotype about over 30 guys being creepy, dirty, and lecherous? I'll admit I am just as perverse as I was when I was 18, but I'm no more of a scumbag. :P

| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 8/1/2006 10:21:39 AM | Well as a guy of 37 ( just turned ) i would say that YES, dating over 30 is better.
For a start you know what you are looking for, have more experiance in spoting players, a wealth of knowledge to bring to a conversation and i guess are more at ease with life.
PS: Also over the years, you pick up little tips like LISTENING to what is being said, REMEMBERING important dates, and SHARING rather than hording.
Take care and all things chocolate, Pete AKA xX GHOST Xx aka me

| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 3/22/2007 2:18:45 AM | I love being over 30 as well. I mean most of us are settled into our careers, (spelling hopefully doesn't matter as much) we have all the trappings of life, house cars toys etc etc. Some money in our pockets, and some smarts we may have picked up along the way.
Beats being in college and broke any day.

| Do you thik it is better being over 30 Posted: 3/27/2007 5:56:56 AM | I feel no different physically at 33 than at 23, still as fit and strong, I feel my fitness lifestyle probably has something to do with it, plus I still have the same interests and persuits. | |
