| What is your favorite movie Posted: 11/6/2007 1:21:24 PM | Walt Disney's Tarzan I know this may sound strange coming from a 52 year old man that my favorite movie is a cartoon. However, I have been a Tarzan fan since I was old enough to pick up my first comic book and read it. Since then I have read the original book by Edgar Rice Bourroughs and have seen countless well made and horrible Tarzan movies. (Can anyone say Bo Derick?)
The Walt Disney version was incredible. The art and animation was very well done and the movie while being cartoonish and funny still captured the adult theme of what the Tarzan story was about. The sound track provided by Phil Collins sealed the deal with great songs whose very powerful lyrics captured every scene they acompanied.
If you or your family have not viewed this classic, it is a must see.
