If I were a fruit I would be,
the weirdest thing you ever did see.
Big, round, with spots all all about,
when you taste me you lose all doubt.
I am good, but not overly so,
So here is a bit i think you should know.
I am tall and have a working brain,
as some already know i love the rain.
I hate people who think that they are all that,
but there is probably more personality in my hat.
I love to talk with all my friends,
helping them to cope, and make amends.
They are my life, my true family,
what I love the most is they see the real me.
They look past my deficiencies, most of all my looks.
To get to know me, you need to know little about books.
I love movies, and hanging out at clubs.
I enjoy a fine night out at the local pub.
I appear at first a little bit shy,
but if you get to know me, I am a good guy.
So I guess this would be inspired by me, and peoples reactions to myself. *told you it had to rhyme Tina* | |

Creative expression in any shape or form should be encouraged for everyone i think.
It's not only helpful for understanding yourself by introspection,but it also helps others who can relate to your work.Which most people can,especially when pertaining to basic human needs and emotions.
I think the world would certainly be a better place if everyone was given the opportunity and freedom to do so.
So keep up your writing,it can only help. | |

This does have inspiration.....to who i probably cannot say...
I met someone who i thought i would never meet.
I am envious, as this person can find happiness in the littlest things, and speaks and writes with such passion and realness it makes me wanna know more.
I am amazed, at how I can be so drawn to someone yet not be in love with them.
I am blinded for when I look at them i see such joy and happiness, nothing else seems to matter, except how i wanna be happy along side them..
I am in awe of how this person can be so beautiful yet will never understand to what extent.
I am wanting, to wanna be around them, wanna spend time, wanna know everything about everything they are thinking, they are everything I would like to be, but cannot....
For I am me and they are wonderful.
I am torn, for if this person knew how i felt no longer would we speak.To be friends, to share secrets, to go places, to hug, to comfort, nothing more nothing less... just to be friends....I am drawn to you and don't know why...but it will stay with me always. | |

Honesty draws respect
Even among those that hate
For at least it is known
Whether two people can relate
Kindness costs not a cent
It can always be given for free
And just a simple thoughtful act
Shows inner beauty for all to see
Regardless of the stage of life
A rose is still a rose
And though beauty may have faded
The remnants that remain still tells us so
I know the feeling of hiding things
I've done it most of my days
For not too many can deal with the truth
When their reality is a daze
Look deeper into your soul and find
The essence of what is true
And realize that every action has a reaction
And decide whether it is best or not to keep things inside of you | |

Posted: 8/6/2006 1:08:03 PM | Thank you so muchfor your poem JD, it was wonderful...I love reading things that people are thinking at some exact moment..That's the way I write...I'm not creative enough to make it rhyme alot so i just write it as it comes...lol
I will probably never say the things I wrote above to the one person I want to..but some things are better left kept inside...for now anyways...Plus I am moving soon..I just hope we can become closer before I do..so i can keep those memories...I just feel as though I want this person to be my bestfriend...but how do u tell someone that? haha | |

If it is a joint feeling that both are feeling then it is already known and not spoken and hence there is no need to speak what is already obvious. Sometimes too many words can be spoken and will ruin opportunities instead of enhancing them. Closeness is usually determined by the amount of personal information and thoughts, ideas, and feelings that are shared between people. One happy memory is more valuable than ten thousand bad ones. I wish you success on your mission. | |

Posted: 8/21/2006 10:42:46 PM | Haven't been around in awhile, been so busy sorting out alot of things....this poem is a bit different then what i usually have, but it's how i feel..i have alot of pent up "energy" lately..my husband has been sick :)
It's the touch of you i need, I can feel it on me now even though you are not near.
I have this urge, this hunger, this animal instinct that makes me crave you.
I can feel nothing but your hands moving all over me, I am flushed, famished, and frail.
What i wouldn't do for one raw night, one emotion to sweep over us and indulge us in the kind of passion we have only dreamed of.
Please come to me, hold me, have me, and heal me, I need you now, this warmth will not go away without you.
You are the reason I am as I am, I only have you to thank and to taste. | |
