If people are going to put their thoughts on the forum, they are going to get responded to in one way or another maybe even contreversial some times. others responses may bother some people and others may LOL but the point of the forum is for feedback on the topics posted.

We're all discriminating in that respect, your profile screens out those who don't suit you even when it was all sweet and light.
I don't cry because 6 foot Amazons don't beg a short guy like me to go out, they have every right to be selective and choose someone they judge as attractive.
Sure it's shallow, but a large pond affords them that opportunity. | |

-Persian
-Polish
-Half Italian/Native
I would date a 100% black girl if I hit it off with one. I care way more if I click with a person.
I only care about race to the extent of not offending them... like not offering beef to a Indian/Hindu person. | |

A black person from Somalia is quite different from a Jamaican, who is quite different from an African American.
I also think 'White' is inadequate as a description. A white person from Sweden doesn't look much like a white person from Southern Italy. And there isn't much cultural similarity either. I myself would be considered white. But my heritage is European & Jewish, but I was born in Canada and raised as a Catholic.

I definitely would date, if I had those sort of opportunities!

Many of us feel the "classifications" are silly. I'm not African American. Africa's a huge continent of people who look very different. Europe is a vast population of very different looking people. I think our current system of racial classification has run the course and needs to be scrapped.

I would like to describe the 3 of them as a horrible experiences.
Im not saying that all black women are horrible for relations, but mine was.
One thing I must throw out there and I know many will say im racist because of this but Im really not.
Ok first off, Two of these girls were pretty pretty clean, but one wasn't so much.
But when it came to having intercourse, the smell of the 3 of them was something I have never smelt before. I know people will reply "that they were nasty and blah blah" No, in fact the main reason why i dated 3 was to see if it was the case in all of them.
Again Im not trying to be insulted or anything just giving out my experience.
The smelt was quite strong and was the main reason why I have never dated a Black women again. | |

I have been spoiled. I have had two relationships with women of color. One of them was of South Asian descent (born and raised in small town Alberta). We were together for about a year and only geography got in our way. The color of her skin was not something I was seeking. Intelligence is my fetish. I have no power against a woman who is smart. And my partner was the most brilliant.
Still after a year of waking up to her smile, caressing her hand and being mesmerized by her walking down a flight of stairs, it is not surprising that my first date when I returned to the pond was another woman of color. She was from Belize. Again, it wasn’t because of her skin, but I guess I was still use to finding beauty in people of color
Now after a year I am seeing a Caucasian woman and she as well is strikingly beautiful in her skin
Would we be having this discussion about hair? Anyone date a Blonde?

In the United Kingdom of Great Britain, it's quite different, especially in the city of London. You see a lot of white blokes dating black women. There are also still alot more black blokes dating white women in the UKGB.
In London too you feel like you're at a United Nations summit - all different sorts (ethnicities)! It's lovely! | |

there is simply some stunningly gorgeous creatures out there. Skin color or ethnicity has no bearing for me! And, yes I'm definitely a sucker for dark skin and those damn big ol Bambi eyes.

I found out each time ( as I assumed would be the case) that they were women just like any others. As a matter of fact, I wanted to date one of them frequently because I felt I could acquire strong feelings for the type of person she was, but she didn't really find me appealing enough. My loss. She was a beautiful lady and I miss her company. I guess what I am getting at is that the question should not have been because if you take the word "black" out of the question......ther is no question at all. | |

Posted: 10/14/2008 2:09:43 PM | I do not know what the social conditions are in Alberta but here in Ontario and in particular the GTA and golden horseshoe it is much more common to see inter racial dating. Black men - white women, white men - black women, East asian women - black, White, Brown men etc etc etc .... I'm assuming it is much less commonplace out there. Not surprised really.
As for me, no I haven't dated a black woman. Never really met a black woman who was interested in me or me in them at the same time. | |

This site is a huge grocery store for men and if they feel like they can actually get the American Standard of beauty they won't waste their time with anything else. | |
