The comb over is bad, but having the ring and growing that out and wearing a ponytail is just as bad. Oh heck, long hair on any guy is just a turn off. | |

A line I came up with when a drunk young lady came up to me ( for a reason that still escapes me ) and exclaimed...
"your going bald and you don't have a chance with me "..! I looked at her and after but a second replied...
"At least I'm not ugly and shallow..... " what's it feel like to be so lonely at such a young age." .....
That left her gasping...like a fish out of water... and everyone with-in ear shot just started cracking up....
I guess stupid people have thier place on this earth too !!!

A turn off would be a comb over, because that just reaks of lack of self confidence. We all have positive and negative things about us, so I prefer someone who is beyond their imperfections, is intellegent, of good character and is interested in my characteristics beyond my imperfections. Now if a women decides hair is a must have.... I hope she never ages cuase that shallow thinking will leave her single when all her "assets" either drop or wrinkle up !
People are people... some smart, some "not so much" , some aware others define simplicity... we all are different... with different likes ,dislikes and priorities...

but it doesn't bother me, and I don't even think of it anymore. If you really are fine with it, and it really doesn't bother you... why are you asking?
Baldness only makes guys less attractive when they're bothered by it. Insecurity kills attraction quicker than baldness ever could. Am I right here, girls?
My hair never behaved properly, so I gave it a warning.
It still didn't smarten up... so I gave it an eviction notice.  | |

Posted: 9/29/2007 3:51:46 AM | I love the replies from the ladies who love bald men! I've had friends who told me they prefer bald men, so I know it really is very attractive to many women. I just wish my son could read this forum - he's been bald since the age of 7 (alopecia areata) and it was very difficult for him as a youngster. Now as an adult of 30 he is still rather insecure about it.
As for me, I will admit that in general I prefer men with hair, but I do find many bald men very attractive and I certainly think that Yul Brenner was one of the sexiest men alive and would probably been less attractive with hair. It's really not about whether or not they have hair, it's about the overall package!! As one poster in another forum said: I don't think bald is sexy. I think attitude, confidence, charm, and intelligence are sexy".
Height is more of an issue with me than hair or no hair. I am 5'7" and am really not comfortable dating men who are not at least 5'9". Actually, the taller the better, with or without hair! And if they have a hairy chest too - all I can say is WOW!

I've been really attracted to a bald guy (totally shaved head because he was going bald), and a semi-bald guy (blond guy who was getting pretty thin on top). Both were really great people (mature, responsible, friendly, had manners). "Being bald" didn't enter my mind; they were just attractive people on the whole. | |

If it bothers you (and I know it does many men) it shows in how you carry yourself, and that is what is unattractive.
