Having, or expressing a simple opinion that doesn't "fit" in with the current Pop culture politically correct wordspeak of the day...is now called Racism! Its nonesense! I will not be held hostage by it anymore. And, I will not be held hostage by 'white guilt' anymore either. More nonesense.
this guy sounds like a fat bore. and he obviously lacks style. those are his main transgressions as far as I am concerned.

The fact is I like all people. I have always been this way. I don't mind even having a racist for a friend but I will admit it is a different story to date such a person. I have a very strong capacity to confront. I also understand how hard it is to change your indoctrination in to the world and yes racism is usually learned from your enviornment. You don't combat hate with hate is what I have come to unsterstand inimately. That is why I could be a friend to even a black racist. You would wonder how could that happen. You won't understand this until you meet me, only then it will become all so clear. As long as you will not move to doing bodily harm we will not have a problem. | |

I have family who are racist, and I prefer not to associate with them, I for one won't, don't,shall not tolerate racism, I don't care if its my family, friends,associates, etc. For the people who I call friends , they are not racist, I'm lucky to have friends, colleagues,even some in laws who are from different ethnic backgrounds.
I couldn't care less what colour a person skin is, If there a racist, they dont hang with me or vice versa, for the record I believe Racism is wrong, NO MATTER WHAT ETHNICITY you are, for those who are not that bright and cannot understand what I just said, I basically said, I dont care what colour you are, Black, white, Yellow what ever, racism is wrong , and don't confuse having a preference for a certain ethnicity ( some call it race) for bigotry?

And that i should respect her....I was shocked and I did end up saying stop talking crap to me and saying something because I had asked u to do something....I find its used tooo much and out of context...
I don't know what people teach others but "WOW"...If thats the best someone can say ..I find that pathetic...
Now this woman was @ 60 and..what crossed my mind is how well mannered are her grown up kids??????

I think people are mixing up "racist" with "prejudiced." A true racist - someone who hates and is blatently convinced of their own supposed superiority based on race - is hopeless. Agreed. Get away from me.
Someone who has prejudices is different. That can happen to perfectly fine people because of their life experiences or upbringing. It can also change. I've seen this. People who honestly "thought" black people (or white people or gays or whatever) were this, that or whatever, but learned different. I can be friends with these people. So can my black friends/family and my gay friends. It's what will change the world, eventually. | |

racism is about the acquisition and maintanince of racial power, prejudice is about personal likes and dislikes. one more thing, we need to stop looking at racism from a slavery/jim crow 24/7 racism. racism evolves it's now about what is normal and something other than normal not so much superior. all the power once involved in being superior has transferred to what it is to be normal this is why most whites don't see themselves as a race but a nationality. racism is also contextual. one can go years w/o acting racist but a certain circumstance arises and the racist comes out. like micheal richards example | |

y should you tolerate?because my friend,once upon a time european people only lived in europe nowhere else,america was coloured,south america was coloured,asia was coloured, africa was also coloured,and lastly austrailia coloured.then along came europeans enslaving every coloured person they saw,killing people,destroying traditions by the rule of gun.After destroying whole civilizations they settled.And implemented their own rules and heritage.You don't see anything wrong with that?
Did i mention the death tolls involved?So next time you want to slate people trying to find a better life,think about where you came from?

I really wish you were open to having a discussion about this...and possibly learn...or teach if you have valid points...and not just stereotypes about "blacks" not speaking your version of proper english, not dressing like normal human beings etc.
Can you conceed that not all black people dress or speak the same? Maybe you can agree that some do try to fit in and get educated? It sounds like the ones you've focused on are the same few shown in movies. Not all are gangsters, here illegally, welfare recipients, or drains on society...just as not all whites are trailer trash, angry cops, cheating wives, promiscuous teens, or murders...obviously. Just maybe there is a lot your missing by focusing on the small percent of loosers in society that hollywood finds the most entertaining?

Languages change and grow constantly, otherwise you would be speaking the same language that Shakespeare wrote with. While few bits of slang make it into the next generations conversations, some does... and EVERY generation has changed the language some. Until you are talking with all the "Thee" "Thou" and "Thine" you are just using the slang of the last 6 generations. Of corse if you did talk like that, you would look like a fool... but then you look like a fool anyway, for not grasping that languages are growing, changing, living things.
English is one of the most versatile languages ever, because we freely steal words and ideas from other languages as well as making up so many new words for new ideas. Our language lends itself so very well to poetry because we have many words for the same ideas... those variances came as much from slang as from other cultures.
and how to dress like a normal human being
You cant really be so stupid that you dont understand that fashion changes even more often than languages, can you? Human beings change and alter their clothing styles WITHIN the span of one generation, and this is an issue to you? I find this to be even more suprising than your bigotry.

As a Native American in this country ( America ) I think all these self proclaimed "races" here need to STFU and realize we are all mutts here like it or not. White people say how African Americans are to blame for crime and drugs while the rich white kids are the ones buying them and using them in thier big surburban parents homes. How Mexicans are taking all the jobs in this country while we as born americans know damn well they do jobs they think they are too good for.African Americans think all white people owe them somthing still for slavery forgetting more americans died for thier freedom then ALL other war casulties combined not realizing how many white people gave thier lives for them to be free.Everyone seems to think somone else is to blame and its always the other colors game piece like some sick never ending game of chess.Focus on yourself as a HUMAN and start there we all bleed red and have a brain...USE IT!
My ancestors in this country ( Apaches ) were almost made extinct by the US Army. The Army put out a standing order to kill Apache women and children with there boot heals to save money on bullets.By the time the hunt for my people was over there was less the 100 of us left on Earth. I'm 1/2 Apache and proud of it but I dont blame anyone for it nor do I go around hating people I see today in 2007 for it....forget the past you cant get it back...learn from it and teach your children to not make the same mistakes.

Ive dropped some, now down to 380,hoping to reach 320,and ill be happy,.....am i a racist...no,do i blame others for my weight gain,no.
