They want the long term casual relationships that don't push them into any legal entanglements...mine is mine....yours is yours...both working and enjoying each others company and taking vacations together occasionally...
does that work? or not?...my guess is ..as long as they are still on single sites and looking and talking to other women/men..your guess is as good as mine... | |

As you can see from the replies here, of course there is love after 44... love does not discriminate regarding age.....
but, the eyes tell it all........
firstly, you have to be happy with yourself or to say it better, not be afraid to be alone. once you can be comfortable being "alone"... - ie.. not being by yourself, but still alone... contentment shows in the eyes... maybe I'm not explaining or saying it properly, but if you are desperately seaking a mate... THAT too shows in your eyes.... that would be enough to scare any man away.....
anyways, all the luck in the world to you....... just go out and enjoy your life - someone said to "have fun like it's the last day of your life"....... and that's true too..... life's too short to be miserable, so go out and ENJOY your life......

I met this adorable little elderly woman the other day. She was just glowing and we got to talking. She was telling me that she was getting married and she was 73! She was giddy and precious and so full of enthusiasm.
I wouldn't get too concerned for at least 29 more years! LOL | |

It seems to me though women this age play more games than they younger ones. This is covered on thread after thread after thread. Women posts suggestive pics then get angry when men react to them; Women say they want long term relationships then all of a sudden decide they just want friends. I'm sure men play the same thing, but I"m tired of it.
Let's face facts, I (at least) am getting too old to play around. If I meet someone and we hit it off, let's move on it. I don't want to waste time that I don't have any more. "The rest of our lives" is not as long now as it was when I was 25-30. | |
