I am too young to remember Nat, but when I hear Ray Charles, Al Green or Marvin Gaye, I get 'misty'....

I really like Nat King Cole, and think he is one of the greatest singers ever. Just watching him sing was a pleasure, he had a knack for being able to sing and smile at the same time. The songs flowed easily and smoothly from him, with any of the face contortations that so many others singers seem to think are necessary. Nat always looked he was enjoying it.

Sorry kitkat - but kill me now.

A previously unmentioned way to let others have their opinions and thoughts without always being bashed for having fond recollections of things from our pasts.................

NKC was an extremely unique, talented, gracious and graceful appearing man---seemingly quite friendly and warm. Michael Buble (sp?) can’t hold a candle to NKC although he does try to evoke the spirit of music from Nat’s era. There are so many truly individual vocalists from that time ago who seem to be fondly remembered by so many who grew up during their popularity. Even now we can appreciate them and occasionally we rediscover someone similar we’d heard but not enjoy at the time. Its’ funny how looking back we can see many things that helped form so much of us today but just now realize it.

I love living in the hear and now but also know where I’ve been has been pretty okay too!

Nat is the king of voice his song "To Young" is still one of my all time favourites. I was introduced to Nat at the age of 4 by my grandmother. I still remember her putting his LP's on and crankin it. Nice to see people still appreciate this man's music.

I truly swoon at the sound of Nat King Cole, but Neil Diamond brings back some great memories, too.

I'll never forget my 5th grade teacher introducing us to NKC at Christmas. My mother used to play all the various artists of her genre at different given times..but..I didn't associate with many of their names unless they were in movies until that 5th grade class. When my mother passed away..I inherited her album collection and love listening to all those old songs..brings back such great memories..especially at this time of year. Bing Crosby..Perry Como..Andy Williams..and of course..NAt King Cole..are at the top of my list of favorites. My kids (all in their 20's) also have learned to appreciate these artists..as artists.

I too Moraima..love and appreciate rock and metal headbanging music..I love the concert scene. This time of year it's The Tiberian Orchestra (aka Kansas) for our family as well as all those old classics.

I love alot of different types of music..but..I appreciate them all!!
