| Do you actually meet or date the people you meet here online?
Posted: 9/5/2006 6:51:48 PM | thanks zazz for your idea there and encouragement, i had a bit of time to think recently as i was sick and decided that this is the person i'd like to meet so got in touch again and via sms cleared up th misunderstanding between us and all is back on track...
we chat by phone mainly which has been a blessing because you can hear the tone in a conversation and i guess thats what i needed mainly, not too good at expressing or maybe expressing too much what i felt in email etc.
so in a few weeks hes coming to stay for a week or so, hes travelling all up approx 9 hours to get here, hope it all goes well......
sooooo cool to see the pic of u and ginger, you guys look great! | |

They have been guys that I have firstly exchanged emails and photos with, and then chatted to online and/or talked on the phone with. If all goes well with the phonecall (voices can usually make or break it for me) we usually have another 4 or 5 phonecalls and then we will meet. It's like a 4 step process for me that usually goes on for about 2 or 3 weeks before meeting. Is that what everyone else does? | |

aka being everything you arent and vice versa
If you meet someone and can talk easily on a variety of subjects
And the talk progresses to ...hey ring me
And then..bugga this..what are you doing saturday?
Thats a date
Thats not a romantic interlude
Thats 2 people continuing a conversation in person
On that 'date/meet' or whatever you want to call it
You'll see if you click in person...or not
At the very least you've made a new friend

I've been sitting here wrackin my brains over who the heck it was I met in July 2006
Couldnt have turned into anything (coz I dont remember)
Since then I have met quite a few (OH IT WAS MARTIN! Hi Martin!)
And dated two..both met through here
And kinda went out with one a few times but ....um....no chemistry at all
I'm not into the pub club scene at all
And in my experiences, the mix of people are the same online as off
With the same percentage hit rate and EWWWW rate and Hmmm rate.
HAVE FUN PEOPLES!

Each sentence a blooper
But online you'd seemed really sweet
So we sat and we chatted
(your nose hair was matted)
You told me you google spell checked
All the quick witted hype
Took you hours to type
Coz you needed the time to reflect
And so in this case guys
I just chased away flies
And you'll see that the meet was a flop
If you happen to see
The one just right for me
Can you tell him..I saved him a spot
