I can't say I'm overly enamoured by that chorlton ass shot either...
at first glance I find it is an optical illusion of someone bending over to the left. most disconcerting!!
realistically though, any pic is fine, esp if it makes you look ludicrous. I particularly like the Intimate Encounter people. You really do get some characters hanging round in that part of the pond.. and avoid that green banana.. actually don't - that's also so awful it's funny too
So get an unflattering pic of yourself wearing next to nothing sprawled over a bed and say
"if you're looking for sex, move onto the next profile lol - banana banana banana" | |

Posted: 10/1/2006 5:55:51 AM | Please don't take a picture of yourself with your mobile phone. Your chin will look huge and I will be able to see your nostril hair. You will look as if you spend your time exchanging high fives with the other prisoners on death row. Make sure you haven't got the sun behind you, I've lost count of the profiles I've seen where the person's face is in shadows. Maybe it's deliberate. Put some nice clothes on, dirty sweat shirts just don't cut the mustard. Clean hair is a must. Greasy hair makes me think the guy must be greasy too. Never pose holding a gun or with your penis out. It's dangerous.
A lot of people won't even read your profile if you don't have a decent photo up. Shallow but true. One more point, If you are 75 and are pretending to be 45, don't post a picture of yourself standing outside a retirement bungalow - kinda gives the game away. | |

a clear head shot,meaning not blurred
and most importantly the real you of course and no fake pics
and it is always good to try and have more than one picture : )
and 34ff ok we have seen your t**s what about your face : /
that is important too you know............
and on that note there is another no no

Posted: 10/1/2006 10:37:21 AM | Have to agree with wifey ..... had a bit of a vote with some male friends I had round for Lunch and the overwhelming consensus of opinion was that wifey is far more attractive and alluring and more likely to be messaged than 34FF who's photo looks like an advertisement for readers wives and is trashy... I guess it's each to their own. 34FF has plenty of favourites so she must attract the kind of people she wants to and wifey has plenty also... But IMHO wifey gets the vote go for that kind of look everytime...

What doesnt work..is very poor pics, ones which are clearly of you in the 70s,( the kipper collars and hairstyles give it away.)
And what can be really off putting is.. a web cam shot, of you..looking terrified or downright miserable.. and showing all your laundry draped on the radiator behind you.. fickle maybe, but women notice these things.. | |

I think it is important to have clear focus pictures as well
I am not keen on the mobile phone one's where the phone's are in the shot too 
Lots of my recent one's are from the meet night's in Birmingham

Got a picture with my little boy in it on one site- Faceparty I think. Not to make me seem sweet, but because it pisses me off when there seems to be interest and it abruptly wanes when the other party discovers I have a kid. | |
