Our school is still the best as you can see, We'll fight and win 'gainst every team we see. The purple, ???? and white shall ever be"). McCrae was terrible for me - incoming Grade 6's were bigger than me when I was in Grade 8. But our Girls were HOT!!!! I remember a few teachers looking at them in ways they shouldn't have. 1978-83 - Grades 9-13 at the defunct Midland Avenue Collegiate Institute ("We are from Midland, proudly we hail thee, honor with the Green and Gold (fight, fight, fight...)). Posted: 8/16/2008 8:55:12 AM Where I live, in St. Louis, MO, this is a common question asked by people who grew up here that baffles people who move here from other places. I was amused to find it here. Answering this question tells you some things about the person. It can give you some ideas of their probably socio-economic status growing up, whether they were Catholic (or Lutheran or possibly Jewish), and sometimes their IQ. Me? I went to Rosati-Kain HS, a Catholic all-girls school in the city. It was an archdiocesan school (not a private, therefore costly) school and it was college prep. So people assume I'm smart, grew up Catholic, and not from a wealthy background.
