| Northern Michigan Posted: 8/12/2006 4:36:02 PM | Hi!!! I surely can demand that I'm a Northern Michigan Resident by now! I'm from Hillman, Montmorency country....the most boring county in Northern MI but as you all know, today we're having V.J. day festival here and and we had lots of people to celebrate it. It's been only 18 months for me as a US resident but this is the place where I have spent the longest amount of time(8 months) and all by myself! So, what do you think....Do I count as a Northern Michigan resident?! | |

| Northern Michigan Posted: 8/13/2006 3:15:16 PM | I'm from outside of Traverse City, MI, in Interlochen. | |
|
| Northern Michigan Posted: 8/13/2006 4:22:52 PM | | Interlochen has a great reputation. My kids were into music in high school and one almost went to Interlochen while another did go to Blue Lake. | |

| "Northern Michigan - The Keewanaw Penninsula, WAY FAR NORTH!" Posted: 8/21/2006 12:51:59 PM | | A buddy of mine from New Jersey visited, and when I asked him if he wanted to go UP NORTH to the cottage (Oscoda) he replied, "You talk about going 'up north' - where the hell do you think you are now?" We were at my place in Saginaw (LOL). It's all relative. I've spent some time up in Copper Country, the Keewanaw Penninsula in the U.P. and then, on the way home, I'll stop at the cottage in Oscoda. Oscoda doesn't really seem so far north then. Knowhatamean? It's all relative. | |

the Keewanaw Penninsula in the U.P. and then, on the way home, I'll stop at the cottage in Oscoda. Oscoda doesn't really seem so far north then If you are talking Keewanaw, the only places that might seem further north would feature polar bears.... Cindy O

|
| Northern Michigan Posted: 9/2/2006 5:12:13 PM | I live in Gaylord - we can it Northern Lower Penisular. And on weekends this town is full of flat landers that love to block traffic and shop. I tend to stay out of town on weekends.
I wouldn't trade this area for anything. Lots of state land to get lost in.
