| Northern Michigan Posted: 3/5/2007 10:58:22 AM | | I know it can be hard to find anyone. Then you get the ones my age that want long term but all they talk and hint about is having sex. I have nothing against sex, far from it, but get to know each other first.dannmann I hope you can find someone in that age bracket. I've seen quite a few when i'm in the "rating pages". But I'm not sure how many if any are from Michigan. I know there are ladies in that bracket on POF,maybe you will have to venture farther to find them....good luck | |

I know it will come sometime, maybe in May or June. I guess I shouldnt complain, I am the one who chose to live up here in the snow belt. I hope to see more people on this forum page. It wouod also be nice to have a meet/get together

| Northern Michigan Posted: 3/22/2007 11:52:05 AM | Geez, where are all the Northern Michigan people? I know there are people from Northern Michigan that joined POF. Well after all that rain downpouring last night I think the snow is all gone...maybe warm weather is here to stay. But we know it still snows in April and May. But I can wish ,cant I? | |

| Northern Michigan Posted: 3/23/2007 6:09:27 PM | Hey yeah, a meet and greet would be great, no? However, considering what happened with the Grand Rapids area get together, I would suggest just meeting someplace that already has entertainment, or maybe even a picnic type get together in a public park( could be done in an evening once weather gets warmer/daylight longer) It's my understanding that the event planner/host for the GR get together spent some significant monies out of her own pocket to set up the event, then only about A THIRD of the people who had RSVP'ed showed up.
Maybe we could even get together some small ,informal"spot" meetings at locations offering refreshment and entertainment. I tell ya I know a lot of these little local bars are doing all they can afford( and sometimes more) to offer entertainment( no not fight night LOL) to get people thru the door. Just as an example, the Loon Saloon in Mecosta( FKA the "Blinker Lite") has Karaoke contest on Thurs, DJ on Fri and I hear now they are bringing in live music on Sat nights. Any thoughts? Cindy O

| Northern Michigan Posted: 3/29/2007 12:22:10 AM | I like the idea of a meet and greet. Picnics are great too...everyone bring a dish..or even a small local bar or pub. I know they have had it hard this winter. Not much snow to bring in the people,sno-mobiling and skiers and etc. I'm glad to see more people here. I know alot of people dont know about POF. I didnt until a few weeks ago. Hopefully the word will get out to more people. Be nice to see more guys and gals go | |

|
| Northern Michigan Posted: 3/30/2007 10:21:49 AM | Hi there lookingforu, I live in same village...how about that? Yeah it is the same way with the older guys too. I'm not sure where they are. Or maybe I'm not what they want, whatever that may be. Or they dont want to meet any women....I'm puzzled... | |
