I am the Serpent sexy and sleek
Weaver of dreams and seer of souls
I am immeasurable and deep
Esoteric and timeless
I am the seducer
My passions enslaving all who fall into my coils
I am inexorable and beyond your perception
The great thinker
Master of wisdom and keeper of secrets
Far stronger than I appear
Far faster than can be seen
Far more deadly than most should dare
I am the warrior
The poet
The thinker
The One
My outside is shining
My inside hides darkness
My venom dripping
I percieve the hidden things in your heart
Nothing escapes me
Little is sacred or pure
I thirst for knowledge
Consuming all that I need
Growing and mutable
Adaptible
Steadfast
Always aware and ever in thought
Men seek my advice and women my reflection
I am old beyond my years
And younger in visage than my age
I sense that which cannot be seen
I can taste your fear and your passion
I am warm to those I care for
Cold to those I dont
Ever polite and yet unpredictable
The alpha male and indominable spirit
My fires rage and heart pounds fierce
My words can save you or enslave you
Give me your loyalty and you'll have mine for life
Betray me I'll never forget
Eyes of Gods gleam out from mine
Always looking and peircing your gaze
You may need me but I might not you
Have care what you say for nothing is hidden
There is no other of my like
Graceful and fluid
Sensual too
I can take you places you've never been
Or make you dwell where you cannot escape
Mostly a giver, sometimes a taker
Never the one to savage the weak
Honor is everything
Mastery grand
The Universe unfolds before me
Who among you would be so bold?
Who will chance to take my hand?
You will be rewarded a thousandfold
While others blink without knowing
Last of the old Viking blood
I am the Serpent!

ERIK - Your poetry is wonderful and it has convinced me to take the chance and post poems of my own on here. I am sure all the other ladies WILL agree, why isn't there MORE men on here and out there like you?
**You constantly pick us all up when we are feeling down,
when we cannot seem to smile but only frown.**
Personally, you have been an inspiration, a self-esteem booster and given me "some" hope that there ARE other men like you around. It is so easy for all of us to compliment you and thank you...you have been an  for us all!
The Wonderful Ladies on Here - I have read how Erik has made a difference in all your lives, and do not fret I AM STRAIGHT and NOT a psycho...you have poured your hearts out in your posts etc., so I take a peak at your profiles and SEE, WOW, I am not alone and we are all so alike in what we seek...so, CHINS UP ALL OF US...It is hard enough being a woman these days...I read all of your poems, cry a little, laugh a little..and YOU ALL have helped me in this healing process too...so THANK YOU LADIES!!

Miss80s I think your poetry will be well recieved. I would definately post it in a thread. The very worse someone can say is that they don't like it. But poetry is so subjective and most who don't like it, usually wont say anything. Honestly, post it for you and your readers, not for your critics. Your readers and friends are the only ones who matter!
There's a plethora of mean or nasty or disgruntalled folks out there. The ugliness that they perpetuate is only a tool to try to bring others down to their miserable level so that they don't feel quite as lonely in their "smallness" so to heck with them! The critics don't matter, unless they are friends offering construstive tips. hahahaha,...

Thank you Erik. You have brightened my days with your poems,and let me laugh when I felt so saddened by life. Yes you are the snake so charming and wise, and you need a lady who is sweet and strong, someone who would sass you back. hEhE...sorta reminds me of another wonderful POF person... So Erik, please do tell!!! Just how many lucky ladies ARE UNDER YOUR SPELL? And who is the ultimate best snake charmer of all, so far? I am still working up the big Viking romance Ladies. Hopefully it will be worth the wait! hahaha,...
Thanks for all the kind words. I'm blushing so hard if I walked across a street this evening cars would crash into eachother from the red glow! Hahaha anyway, I am starting on the poem, but it will take me a while to work it out. I should have it in a day or two.

Okay, the Saga of Erik continues.
I am so often complimented on these threads and my insights and gifts etc that it paints a pretty grand picture of me. I get asked all the time how I am still single or called too good to be true. ( not bragging just requoting ) But it's an illusion. I am not perfect. I have plenty of flaws and mistakes that I make or have made in my life. I have come a long distance from some very dark and negative things in my youth to where I am with myself these days. Like everyone we all have our good and bad. I seem very strong and self assured both online and to anyone who talks to me in real life because I am the same no matter where. But I too have my moments of doubt, or times when I am annoyed or uncertain of things. Most folks understand this but sometimes I get e-mails that make me think perhaps that I am viewed more like this computer guru handing out good advice and always sweet and charming. That I live this grand life filled with amazing things. But the reality is, I am just me, doing typical Erik stuff, and making the same headway, and mistakes that anyone else does. To deflate the image a bit. I never take myself too seriously and hope that you don't either. I treasure all of my friends here and am glad to help out with advice or entertainment where I may.
That said, thanks to all of you for the excellent e-mails and wonderful thoughts and compliments. You are all very sweet!

Warrior bold he stands before his rapt adoring fans
And thus he is, but not just that, inside he's still a man
The warmth of one he craves still yet, the one who'll steal his heart
And rock his nights, but days as well, ne'er needing from him to depart
Her gentle soul will light his way as through the world he walks
His strength beguiles her, his wisdom inspires her, much more than senseless talk
From ancient roots and histories long this man's been sung a hero
But dont mistake his following for an empirical fool like Nero
Strong bold he is, and clashes wits with gods and men alike
But heart he has, and bleeds like us, warm hugs Erik and good night.
