| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/26/2006 3:31:33 AM | - For EMMA -
This is a poem for Emma, While playing on a chair, you took a tumbling fall, And gave your mum a scare!
I hope you're feeling better, I hope you're healing well, Cause if you break anything else, Your mum will give you Hell!
- Erik - Be a good girl and take care of your foot okay?

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/27/2006 9:49:54 PM | -TO YOUR PICTURE!-
I love the way, the shadows play, on darkened skin, as night eats day.
Your silken hair, like flax so fair, it draws my gaze, and makes me stare.
Your muscle tone, by gym you hone, a sculpted form, that's yours alone.
There's more to you, than just the view, or how you look, I know it's true.
But for this time, I'm here to ryhme, the way my eyes, love every line.
So here's to you, so gorgeous too, you're far more fine, with every view.
- Erik -
Now as you know there is far more to all women than just looks, but as a guy, well duh!, I like the form and view as well. So I thought I would write this for a certain attractive lady who's photographs have really always made my eyes hungry to keep staring! hahaha,...

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/28/2006 11:04:25 PM | -Dedicated to SALTY TOWERS -
The lady alone across the sea, The land not where she longs to be,
Her heart lies far off by the fjord, Her people forged by axe and sword,
On her tongue the song of kings, Of Gods and forgers of great rings,
Her hair flows down like winter snows, The magic of the lands she knows,
A maiden proud of clever mind, And who can say all she may find?
The only thing I know and warn, To her will harken like a horn,
The kindred strong who call her one, To all her foes our wrath be done!

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/28/2006 11:46:27 PM | - YOUR EYES and MINE -
Your eye gazes into mine Deep inside you take me Like a child taking your hand To walk into the maze of all that glows within you But it is no childs hand that rests in yours The warrior treads slowly down the path Farther and farther Lost in you without loosing my way Unlike the barbarians that maw at your look But see only the surface I have entered the gate and looked into your soul Plunging down Wandering the corridors The deepest echos of your soul and heart Going places that only you and I may share All in the flash of a split second In the meeting of eyes In perception unyeilding and strong Yin and Yang clashing in beauty and harmony Souls woven together without effort Dreams bound to eachother Two silent warriors Appraising eachother from different sides of the same ship The poet in each noting the things that best capure our thoughts The things that lock our memories into a slow dance Like serpents twisting about eachother A billion secrets and dreams All unleashed in a single glance A nod and the kenning that we know eachother That we matter That we have faith and strength Loyal and honorable Driven to look Always together No matter how far the land would keep us apart The eyes speak We listen and know Your eyes speak My dreams forever peirced My heart and mind are yours

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/29/2006 2:34:27 AM | Now it's my turn to be blushing
Thank you Erik.
Even though you have painted the 'warrior queen' my kisses are not so horrible, so no need to be afraid
I'll have to think on a reply. I just came in from outside and preparing for the spring. The ground is beginning to warm (a little) and so out with the withered grasses of last season, turning the earth, and digging in Fall's leaves. Hot shower had, and I think I am going to eat and then go sit under the stars. Black black night outside and no clouds. The stars are bright and almost close enough to catch ;) And so wrapped in an enormous duna, butt down in a big garden chair, feet wrapped and up on the great big wooden table, head back...I depart for the heavens.
and thank you Erik | |

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/30/2006 2:49:54 AM | Okay saw another one!
She wants friends for romance and a long lasting relationship. ( No I am not naming any names ) but goes on to wonder why guys treat her like a sex object? Does Erik dare peek at her profile,... did we need to ask? hahaha,...
She wont see this. I don't think reading and comprehension are high on her list, if should could write enough to have a list! hahaha,... But I just find it amusing.
Why are the guys so rude and horney? Asked the confused lady, All eight pics are really porney! Thus the e-mail's shady!
Pictures bent over, your hem riding high, Showing your panty floss! Dont be mad that they stare at your thigh, Respect for you a loss!
What right do you have to be whiney? Why are you so darn mad? If you weren't showing off all your Hiney, Your mail might not be so bad!

| I Am Posted: 8/30/2006 3:26:14 AM | I am the waters From spring's cascading splendour Pouring forth from cliffs and hilltops Rivers undefined dancing playfully from ledge to rugged ledge Leaping in freefall down mountain sides Caring not for whence I land Amongst brothers I shall dwell
I am the waters Chattering across the newborn world Filling hollow spaces and resting gently Pouring onwards twards oceans newly freed from winters grip Running playfully cross fields with sweet new grasses Singing through each pebble each cascade "Drink" and let new seasons life begin
I am the waters Pouring cross ancient mountains into seas Mixing with the salt of lands now gone Tasting memories of bolder times when ships and warriors did roam Changing, melting into new worlds Lapping gently on new tides Becoming one with oceans great
I am the waters...... | |

| I Am Posted: 8/30/2006 3:34:32 AM | I am the waters Deep and restless lapping shores and isles Stillness seldom seen I carry many secrets Seen from above I am only a reflection, hiding safely all I am and hold inside Rolling waves and sucking troughs mere images But made by buried mountains out of sight
I am the waters Strongly feel me surge beneath you Passions breath in every curve With tides and currents mastered only by those braver souls who venture Into waters deep to taste my splendour Feel my wonder, know my secrets
I am the waters Holding ancient knowledge in my swell Deaths nursery for those who did not live to tell Keeper of souls of errant wanderers who dared but did not seek to know The many currents of my life and ebb and flow The mysteries of she who is eternal
I am the waters.... | |

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/31/2006 7:10:21 PM | Lot to be said for magic It comes in many forms :)
I'm at a loss for words today. I seem to have reverted to 'the story teller' rather than 'poet'. It seems the pond has run dry for now, and I have to start doing some serious things for a while instead of enjoying 'pond magic'.
I want to finish 'water' some time (she has not finished her journey yet) and I have yet to respond to 'the serpent'. I tried to when the 'water' thing happened. lol
We're not all as talented as 'Yon Erik the Brave'
Back later when my mind can settle a bit. Look forward to seeing some more 'viking magic' that brings wings to my restless soul.

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 8/31/2006 10:49:15 PM | Funny how, as I spoke out loud my yearning for some Viking Magic I happened upon (a little later in the day) a verse that struck a chord Not so much a verse, an invocation, right from the lap of the gods, not tragic But drew me up in my chair, breath held I heard them speak, my lords Of ancient memories, and yet not weep did I, I flew...
Flew on the wings of ancient lore, and eyes lit up, I thirsted more As gods brought forth in ancient curse, a warning, calling, no, much worse The gods themselves were speaking thus, and listen I did, I wanted, I must For in those words were you and I, our kith and kin, and again I did fly On a brothers borrowed wings...
Amazing what happens when we just say out loud what is really our hearts desire. I have seen this happen again and again. I just wish I could remember to do it instead of seeing it happening accidentally.

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 9/1/2006 11:49:31 AM | -For CYNDERALLA-
I love the photos one and all looking down and in the hall Statuesque in form and pose Sweeping lines of flowing clothes
Raven hair that cascades down In it drawing my eyes round But your eyes are oh so deep Burning passion in them sleeps
Smouldering and mild aglow Fires raging from below Fierce and independent heart Brilliant mind that's strong and smart
Any time you need a friend Know on her you can depend And if she should need one too Many hearts would hasten through
Melting men with her great form Deep inside they feel forlorn For she's not some little toy Put here for them to enjoy
She is rather one who's magic Life of joy but sometimes tragic In her eyes I see the pain She's too gracious to explain
But more so we feel her pride All the love that wells inside Though she's gorgeous in the skin Far more beauty lies within
I feed humor that she craves As she reads my rants and raves But in me a friend she knows One who'll fend away her woes
She once called me double spy Sides with women though a guy She knows though she makes me drool That I'll never act the fool
So as you read this little poem Know you'll always have a home In the heart of one weird Viking Who finds you much to his liking!
- Erik - This is for a nice friend. She is a really fun woman and always very gifted, and richly insightful. Her eyes see everything and she has great instincts and perceptions of the world around her and all the friends who's lives she touches and a very kind and personal way!

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 9/1/2006 2:01:59 PM | You touch my heart in such a way... In our lifes we meet people along the way some leave footprint in the sand along our paths and some leave footprints in our souls. You my friend have left them in my soul. Thank you for such a beautiful poem. ~lil Cyn~ | |

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 9/4/2006 1:38:08 AM | Sick humor: Sometimes lack of sleep makes me silly and I come up with strange scenarios of men and women etc. Usually you are spared the sharing, but sometimes the naughty quirky Viking inside me gets out and unleashes a bit of twisted humor on my readers! This is one of those times!
-GOT YOUR NUMBER OFF THE BATHROOM WALL-
So what I got your number from the bathroom wall? I'll still respect you in the morning! The promise of a fun time made me have to call, 'Side's all the heavy breathers must be boring!
You called me,"pervert" when I asked what you are wearing? Then you told me to roast in Hell! You must have felt the love and known that I wasn't staring! When at last you decided to tell!
I should have known you would have caller ID,... Cause then you got all freaky and wild, Now I wish that you would stop calling for me! Your lust makes me feel so defiled!
- Erik -
I liked the idea of bugging a girl and having her flip it around on the annoying caller! Hehehehe,... Enjoy folks! ( This was originally a simple rememberance of the chorus line to a song by the same title as the poem from a rock band back in the mid 80's called Faster pu$$ycat. )

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 9/4/2006 7:12:05 AM | Hahaha. Good one Erik Ah the places the mind roams when it needs some
Some Midnight Madness from Down Under
I happened upon a bathroom wall A note was pinned there, said "Please call If you are feeling sad or down Or need a friend to lift your frown"
I wondered who on earth would pin A note like this on a bathroom in A pet shop! Then I laughed out loud And walked outside and joined the crowd.
Months later on, my cat got sick And though I called the vet real quick It was a very touchy time And I remembered then that rhyme
Shyly I stole back to the store Looked around then noticed the door Slid right in and found the note And the number down I wrote
Got home and felt a little coy Phone up a stranger? Boy oh boy! Dialled the number, it was busy Message bank made me quite dizzy!
Listening. It was me...

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 9/4/2006 8:43:05 AM | Thank you so much for your poem, paints such a true picture of what I am finding. I just got hooked into this thing and am starting to understand what makes it tic. I have experienced the same. I got caught up with a gal that I checked out her take on the forums and I am starting to see a lot deeper into people.
If you do you can meet me but.. isn't it sweet to dream
Almost better really, to dream Is fantasy better than reality? Probably not but close
Don't ruin the fantasy To make those two meet, that's the key That's when the world explodes
In the meantime, we talk, See, connect Then go outside and breathe deep and smile

| Erik the Viking's Poetry and other gems for PoF. Posted: 9/6/2006 9:55:55 PM | Bravely As I tred the path My brightened eyes See many things Unseen
Alone I walk, head high None brave enough To tred the path Beside me
None Foolish enough To try to lead I will not follow Blindly
Some Foolish enough To try to follow And be as me Unwisely
Until The path I trod Was somehow Shared by you Unknown
Unseen A crooked arrow flew A shield it hit It wasnt mine But you
Alive Walks on with Breath and gift of life Alone, I walked With you
